Ruined My Life

"Theresa! You're going to be late for your first day of college!" My mother yells from downstairs. I flip over and glance at my alarm clock. I get up and jump in the shower quickly. I wash my hair and shave. After I let the hot water run down my back for a few minutes. 

"Theresa!" She yells again. I turn the water off and wrap a towel around my soaked body and my hair. 

"I'm coming mother." I say while I run across the hallway into my room, I slip on my long jean skirt and white blouse. I blow dry my hair and brush through it. I check myself in my mirror before I head downstairs. 

"Good Morning Mother." I say while I pop down a bagel in the toaster. Theres a knock at the door. 

"I will get it." I say, and walk to the door. 

"Hi Nathan." I hug him and let him inside. 

"Theresa, looking lovely as ever." He smiles.

"Come on you two you'll be late for your first day!" Mom says and we rush into the car. I forgot my bagel in the toaster.
