Once upon a time, there was a paper clip that was put in a box full of needles. They said, "silly paper clip- you have to be slim like us to be a needle!" And so the paper clip bent himself so that he was slim like a needle- but he was not a needle.
Then he was put in a cupboard full of plates. And they said, "silly paper clip, you have to be round like us to be a plate!" And so the paper clip bent himself so that he was a circle- but that did not make him a plate.
Next he was put in a drawer full of pencils. They said, "silly paper clip, you have to be straight like us to be a pencil!" And so the paper clip bent himself to be straight- but he was not a pencil.
Again he was placed in with some cords. They said, "silly paper clip, you have to be tangled up like us to be a cord!" And so the paper clip bent and bent until he was tangled- but he was not a cord.
Finally he was put with all of the other paper clips. When they saw how bent he was, they said, "silly paper clip, being slim does not make you a needle, being round does not make you a plate, being straight does not make you a pencil, and being tangled does not make you a cord. Being the shape does not make it who you are!" And so the paper clip tried to be a paper clip again, but he had blended too much and he broke in half.
So the next time you see a paper clip in a needle box or if you're a needle in a paper clip box, make sure to never change who you are because other want you to be something different.
You should never feel bad for the little paper clip- because he was too bent to do what he was created to do.
Some stories don't have the happiest of endings, and I guess this is one of those stories. But this story is just the story of a lonely little paper clip who was told to be a different shape.
I love you<3
never give up on yourself, because you can make it.
and never ever let anyone tell you that you should change or be different unless you yourself want to be that way, because you are beautiful inside and out and nothing is ever going to change that.
I love you.
