People Change and Promises...

It is incredible the way I feel right now. Some people say that good things take time, but really great things happen in the blink of an eye. I can’t believe that this is my life now… You wanna know what I’m talking about? Well… Almost 6 years ago I was in Houston with my family celebrating my birthday, now I’m in L.A. with my favorite musician as a husband thinking about what would be the perfect name for our upcoming baby. How did it happen? Let’s see…

16. “Desperate for changing, starving for truth.” Falling even more in love with you -Lifehouse

I actually enjoyed my last two months at Disney World working on the resort and getting even closer to the few people around me, but two months were like an eternity for me.

The day finally came and like I thought, the Jonas Brothers would be in the Amphitheater of Tampa. I bought my ticket for their concert before I got in that trip and of course I’d love to wear a JB t-shirt if I had one, but I left them all back home.

I texted Nick about my trip to Tampa, I never said I’d be that night on the row seats, I just told him I needed to be at my hotel really early and he invited me to hang out before their performance.

I got into their tour bus around 10 in the morning and officially met their family. I need to say that Denise is the sweetest woman in the world and Danielle is such a sweetheart and she totally belongs with Kevin. We talked a little and it seemed like Nick had already told them everything about me... They already knew where I was from and what did I like.

Nick and I got out for some lunch and he met some fans on our way back to the bus; he told me they had promised a live chat before the show because sound check was cancelled for some reason.

A few hours later, they were in front of a laptop talking about how wonderful this road has been for them. I was with their parents on the other side of the camera just looking at some tweets of their fans and I remembered how I used to write them like a million times the same thing just for them to read it but I never got a single chance.

“Nick, look.” Kevin said pointing at his iPad. There was a question for him.

“Oh. I guess it won’t hurt anyone.” He said giving me a look. “I’ll be right back.”

He stood up, walked to me and handed me his hand.

"What?" I murmured.

"They’re asking for you. Come on." He mumbled.

"No way! Nicholas! No!" He took me up and headed me to the camera.

It was something I’d rather not to do! I mean, I wasn’t even in my best clothes! I just put on my favorite white skinny jeans, a black t-shirt and my classic black converse. I’d look totally out of context with the three perfect brothers beside me.

“People, this is Vanya.” Joe introduced me to the fans.

“Hey.” That’s all I could say before smiling like a fool and quietly blaming Nick about the awkwardness i got when I spoke to a computer.

“She’s the one who took Nick to get some lunch this morning, for those who were wondering.” Kevin was the one talking this time.

“Wanna say something?” Joe asked.

“I don’t really know what to say.”

“Our fans are wondering... Who are you?” Kevin said.

“I-I’m…” I COULDN’T TALK! I just stared at the laptop as it was some kind of monster that would eat me.

“She’s from Mexico City.” Joe said.

“She’s one of our biggest fans.” Nick pointed.

“And she’s Nick’s best friend.” Kevin finished. “The funny thing is that she was a fan even before meeting Nick, you know. She was like ‘Oh my god! Nick you’re so hot!”

“No! I wasn’t like that! Not so much... This is weird.” I said between laughs and giggles.

“I can’t believe you’re still a fan after getting to know my brother. He’s such a loser.” Joe told me with a giggle.

“He’s really talented.” I said trying not to blush.

“@SpreadJonasLove asks ‘Are you guys together?’” Kevin quoted.

“No.” I answered immediately.

Nick looked back at me with his eyes shining as I’ve never seen them shining.

“No, but any guy would be lucky to have her.” He said with a smile.

“She’s not as shy as you see her now.” Joe said interrupting my drooling.

“Yes, I am.” I grinned at the camera with innocent eyes.

“@NextMrsJonas says she loves your shirt and asks how is Nick with you?”

“Thank you.” I didn’t know why did she say that about my shirt, it didn’t look that good on me, I was a mess.”Hm… He’s a gentlemen and really sweet. Even when you see him so serious and the non-talkative one he’s not so bashful.”

"We’re done, guys. Papa Jonas mumbled from the other side of the computer.

“Guys, we need to go because as you know we’re going to throw a show in a few hours.” Kevin began to say.

“We love you, guys. Thanks for everything, we’re blessed to have all of you.” Nick said.

“We’ll see you as soon as possible.” Joe spoke as he looked at me.

“Have fun.” I said with some awkwardness in my voice.

We stood up and left the room. I was still blushing because of what happened. Somehow Nick’s words still echoed in the back of my mind.

“You didn’t have to do that!” I complained taking Nick’s hand before he got into the dressing room.

“They were asking for you... It’s not so bad, is it?” He said with a childish tone. “We just do what they ask us for.”

“Liar.” I accused him and looked at our hands... They were still together.

“It was fun.” He said. “Do you need to get to your hotel now?”

“Not really.” I told him with a playful smile. “I’ve already bought my ticket for the concert.”

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

“Because I knew you were going to request me to stay back stage and I haven’t been in a concert for so long. I wanted to feel the screaming and the joy of every girl in the venue.” I laughed.

“You’re insane.” He grinned.

“Just a little.” I said taking my hand back to my pocket.

“Then, do you want to go to dinner after the show?”

“Yeah, that’d be cool.” I accepted.
