I watched as the ambulance pulled away from the drive-way. "How long do you think she'll be?" I asked Jeremy. "I don't know kiddo, but you should probably spend the night with us." I nodded and wiped away my tears. "I'll just go get my things." I said heading back into the house. It seemed empty, and drained of life. I picked out a couple outfits and tossed them into a duffle bag with a few other necessities, and met them in the car. The familiar roads suddenly seemed foreign. "Will I get to see her?" I asked. "Hopefully soon." Crying seemed easier than holding back the tears. I forced my eyelids shut. Today might've been the last time I would see my mom. All bad things I've done, all the conversations I ended, they would all soon come back to haunt me. One tear rolled down my cheek, the another, and next thing I knew I was crying. Some one touched my shoulder I looked up, it was Jazmyn. "Are you okay?" She asked. "Yes, I am." I rubbed my eyes. "We are here," Jeremy said. "Justin, can you take them inside, I'm going to go to the hospital." We followed Justin into the house. "Guys, go get ready for bed." Justin said. They didn't whine or argue, they went straight upstairs. "Now, you," Justin said turning to me. "What about me," I said running my fingers through my hair. "Let's go upstairs." We went up the stairs and Justin led me into his bedroom. "Is this were I'm going to stay?" I asked. "Is it okay?" He replied. I dropped my bag. "Its fine, but where will I sleep, there is only one bed." "You will sleep in the bed." "With you?" I questioned. "No, I'll sleep on the floor." I looked down at Justin's marble floor. "For real, no." "I will sleep in one of the guest rooms." "Okay, that's better." "I'll be right back," He said leaving the room. I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes. The sound of Justin's footsteps woke me. He was carrying a glass and a pill bottle. I sat up. "What's this?" I asked once he gave me the glass. "Its juice." "What kind?" You really had to check with people these days, because the last drink I took from someone (Maejor Ali) was spiked with rum. "Its just fruit punch Lily, chill," He laughed. I took a sip of the drink. "What are those for?" He held up the bottle,"These are just if you feel sad." Depression pills. "Are you trying to drug me?" I joked. "No, you have to trust me." I did, I really trusted Justin, he has always been there for me. "I do," I said taking the pill. "Well, goodnight," He said leaving. "Wait." He turned around, "Can you please sleep in here tonight."
