I lay my head back on the sofa, letting the hangover kick in. I quickly stood up, walking into the kitchen to grab a few tablets to heal the pounding in my head.
I flicked the tap on and made myself a glass of water, dropping the two tablets into my mouth and knocking them down my throat.
I heard a car pulling up outside the house and I made my way to the widow to see the two familiar figures walking to the door.
I looked at myself in the mirror, realising how bad I actually looked. My hair was all over the place and I genuinely looked awful.
I opened the front door, smiling as the little figure ran up to the door squealing.
"TomTom." Lexi's voice squeaked as she jumped into my arms.
"Hey princess, how are you?" I smiled, as Zack made his way closer to us both.
"Where's Kate?" He asked.
"She's at her mums, she should be back soon, but you're alright to leave Lex with me you know?" I chuckled slightly.
"Yeah I know, I was just wondering where Kate was." He shrugged. "Lexi's been asking for her all morning."
"Well she'll be home soon." I smiled, knowing I'm lying to the both of us.
He nodded his head, looking at Lexi who was now standing next to me. He opened his arms and she ran into them.
"I love you daddy." She grinned, wrapping her small arms around his neck.
"I love you too, baby. I'll see you on Saturday alright? Be good for your mummy and tom ok?" He smiled.
"I'm always good daddy, gosh." She rolled her eyes, causing us both to laugh at her.
"I best be off. Bye Lex." He waved bye before heading back towards his car.
"TomTom?" Lexi grinned.
"Lexi?" I copied the grin on her face.
"Love you." She giggled.
"I love you too you little brat." I chuckled, bringing my hands either side of her and beginning to tickle her.

"So tell me something about yourself?" Max smiled as we continued to wait for Robbie to get home.
"My names Kate." I smirked.
"Oh my god really? I never knew." He winked.
I bit my lip, smiling at him and he began to speak.
"How old are you? Robbie never told me. He just told me he has a younger sister." He smiled.
"I'm 21, you're the same age as Robbie, right?" I asked.
"25." He nodded.
The light tapping on the front door stopped our conversation. I laughed slightly as he took the mick out of whoever was knocking on the door.
"Stay." I glared at him.
"You're very demanding aren't you." He winked.
I rolled my eyes and made my way towards the front door, opening it and smiling as I saw the figure standing in front of me.
"Mummy!" Lexi squealed.
"Lexi, hey baby. I thought your daddy was going to text me when you were coming home." I laughed, picking her up into my arms.
"He dropped her off at ours." Tom's voice spoke.
"Yours." I reminded him.
He didn't say a word, he just nodded. He went to step inside the house but I stopped him.
"We need to talk, Kate." He shrugged.
"Another time." I whispered.
He nodded his head and planted a kiss on Lexi's forehead, slowly walking backwards before turning and walking away from the house.
