"Stop looking at me like that, it's creepy." I covered my eyes with my hands as my head rested on Max's chest.
"I'm sorry." He whispered, moving a strand of hair out of my face and planting a kiss on the top of my head.
His arms wrapped tighter around my body, pulling me even closer than I already was to his.
"So what now?" I mumbled, looking up at him.
"I was wondering the same thing. I mean, I get that you're still accepting the fact you're not with your ex and I get that you love him, but honestly, I'm willing to give it ago if you are." He admitted, a smile forming on his lips.
I took a deep breath, nodding my head, forcing a smile on my lips, only for it to stay plastered there for longer than I'd expected it to.
"What's the time?" Max questioned.
I turned my body, grabbing my phone off the draw next to my bed, unlocking it.
"It's just gone 2." I turned back to face him, smiling.
"Alright. Babe, I've got to be at the studio before 3 so I'll leave now and come back after, yeah?" He smiled.
"Okay." I nodded my head.
He stepped off the bed, standing opposite me, staring at me for a second.
"Come here." He whispered, his arms opening.
I walked around my bed, straight into Max's arms. His arms snaked around my waist as mine went around his neck.
He placed his index finger below my chin, slowly bringing it up so I was looking at him.
He leant down, so his lips were in level with mine, planting a kiss on my lips and then pulling apart.
"I'll see you after." He whispered.

"You're late." I glared at Max as he walked through the studio doors.
"Sorry. Jesus Christ you sound like my mum." He chuckled.
"Why are you late?" Nathan winked.
"I took Tom's advice." He smirked.
"And how did it go?" I questioned, suddenly becoming interested in the conversation.
"I think we're going to give it ago." He nodded.
