Collin smirked at me. "As much as I like having you here. I think you should call your dad. I don't want people to think I kidnapped you." He said.
I frowned slightly. "Um, alright." I brought out my phone and realized how many missed calls and messages I had from my dad.
Some messages were normal, from him, anyway. The messages were saying things such as "when you come home, we're going to have a long talk." We never actually have a talk. It's mostly beatings. Although, one message caught my eye, "I'm going to find you no matter what xx." I felt the tears rush to my eyes but, I blinked them away.
"Are you going to call him?" Asked Collin, with his arms still wrapped around his knees in front of me.
"I texted him," I lied.
"What did he say?"
I paused, staring down at my phone.
"I'm sorry, it's none of my business."
"No, no, it's fine. Um, I should be get going. I will come back in the morning."
"Is he making you come home?" I glanced up at him and regret washed over me 'cause all I can see on his face is disappointment.
I really want to stay here. The only reason I wasn't, is because, I don't want to intrude and I don't want to put him in danger. I stood up.
"Ellen?" He reached over and grabbed my hand before I walked out the door.
I turned around and all we did was stare into each others eyes.
