To Be a Victim

I live near the are where the Franklin Regional stabbings happened. I feel for the kids who were hurt and their families. But I also feel kind of bad for the boy who did it. Since I was once bullied myself, I got the idea to write about certain situations I and many of friends went through or just random incidents. The consequences are great if a bullying situation is not handled properly. Please if you see someone being bullied, in or out of school, tell someone!

1. Author's Note

I would like to discuss the topic of bullying. I feel this is the only way to do so. To get the message out I have to get a large audience. I have a pretty large amount of people reading my stories so I'm sure some of you are reading this.

I would also like to point out this is not a One Direction bully story. This is a post that is open to all discussion about the topic of bullies and bullying.

As in the information on the top, I live near the area where the Franklin Regional stabbings occurred. I hope many of you have seen this on tv. You couldn't miss it for at least a week, it was the number one story for awhile.

Anyways, the boy who went and stabbed all those people was bullied online and in school. I am awfully sorry for those who were injured and are still in the hospital. Franklin Regional Strong! But I also feel kind of bad for the stabber. Don't get me wrong, he shouldn't have stabbed 24 people but should have gone to get help and stop those who were bullying him.

The next day my math class had an intensive conversation about bullying and discovered it happens a lot more than I thought.

I was bullied once on the way I waved to my mother when I saw her on the corner on my bus stop. I didn't let it slide and my bully never talked to me again. My friend was bullied and never told me. If you are being bullied or see bullying please say something!

Now I am begging for people to comment. This is totally open for discussion! I want everyone's opinion! But if we do comment, please keep it respectful!

Thank you!
