"Matt! Your alright! I am so sorry! I didn't mean to. It was just an accident!" I throw my arms around him as he walks into the room.
"Hey, careful of the throat!" he laughs, hugging me back.
"Sorry. Where's Martin? I want to thank him."
Matt glares at me. "That won't be needed."
"But I want to thank him personally for helping you." I begin towards the dormitory door.
Matt grabs my arm. "What did I just tell you?!" Matt has always had slight anger management problems.
I give in not wanting to see him enraged. "Alright. So, what do you want to talk about?"
Matt leads me over to our bunk and we sit down next to each other.
"Kara. Would you leave me? Ever?"
I give him a queer look of confusion. "Why do you ask that?"
"I just... I need to know."
"Oh, Matt. I never want to be apart."
He smiles and pulls me in for a kiss. His sweet lips come in contact with mine and my lips part. His tongue explores the cavern of my mouth.
We stand up and I cling to him, wanting more then I can have. He shoves me against the wall and we continue our pursuit.
Matt's fingers find the bottom of my shirt and mine find his. I unbutton his pants and pull them down before he does the same to me. We step out of them, lips still locked.
He walks me over to the bed and my back is lain on the covers.
"Babe? Take your bra off." He mumbles against my lips.
I move to undo my bra but a voice interrupts me. "Well, well. Look what we have here. A couple of stiffs making out. What a pleasurable sight!" A male voice snickers.
Martin stands in the doorway. Matt stands up,
glaring at him.
"I don't think that's a very good idea, your throat still hasn't completely healed. You want the stitches to tear?"
"What do you want?!" Matt spat.
"There isn't going to be any Dauntless cake if you continue with your pursuit."
Matt growls and Martin walked out again, a satisfied smirk on his face.
Matt sorts through my clothes and pulls out a tight black dress and throws it to me.
"Put this on." He takes a pair of black jeans and a black t-shirt.
"You can talk to me, Matt. What's up?"
"Nothing." He grumbled as we headed towards the dining hall.
"Come on. It will feel better to talk about it. Please." I cling to his arm and pout at him, hitting his weakness.
"Fine." he moaned, unable to resist. "When I was in hospital, Martin stayed with me. He didn't do it for me, he did it for you. I saw the look in his eyes when he had walked in on training that day. He feels the same way about you as I do. I told him he'd be sorry if he got between the two of us. He said we'd see about that. But I am not going to let him get between us, babe. I know you want me as much as I want you." He stops and pulls me close to him. Our lips lock and I wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him towards me. I want him more than anything in the world.
