9. Last few weeks
So that day Joe called around. I think Abbie actually liked him instead of hating him like she did before. It was good fun.
But now, there was only a week and two days left. Not much happened in the past few weeks, except that Joe got his place decorated. Not really important I guess.
''Promise me you'll spend my last week with me and don't forget me.'' She said. ''I won't'' I said, hugging her and almost crying.
''And please, don't ever let Joe hurt you and if you ever get married, I hope it all works out for you two. Maybe even have a child.''
Typical Abbie, always adding in a bit of humour to every sad time we had together. ''But you will have a child right?'' ''ABBIE!'' I screamed, throwing a pillow at her. ''Hey, hey peace.'' She said.
''I would have something else to say but I haven't really planned out my speech.'' Said Abbie, jokingly. ''L-O-L so funny.'' I said. ''I'm gonna miss you so much Abbie.'' ''Hey, hey don't depress me.'' She said, hugging me.
So we spent the last few days looking back through old photo albums and talking about those 'funny' times when we were little.
On the last night, we drank hot chocolate, giggled and shared secrets like our sleepovers when we were like, twelve...
