"Who is this?" I quietly asked, very nervously.
"Ryan Brogan. Who's this?" My whole world stopped. I was frozen. I was paralyzed. I couldn't speak.
"Are you still there?" He spoke after a few seconds of silence. I opened my mouth to say something- anything- as long as it wasn't stupid.
"Ryan, it's, erm, it's... it's Leslie." It was silent again. I mean, I'm not mad at Bailey. All I told her was the story and his first name. I never told her his last name, or how he looked like, or anything like that.
"Leslie?" It came out as a whisper.
"Yes?" I whispered back.
"I- I, I haven't heard from you for... for so long. Do you- maybe- want to catch a cup of coffee, or something?" Is. He. Serious. Right after what he did to me, he wants to 'catch a cup of coffee'? Tears started to flow out as the memories came back.
"I'm, I'm sorry. I just... I can't. N- not after-" I cut myself off.
"Bye, R-Ryan," I quickly hung up and held my head in my hands. What happened? I was crying so much lately. I mean, a couple months ago I was going to parties with Brooke and having the time of my life! Now look at me. I'm sitting on a bed, crying like there was no tomorrow. I grabbed my phone and threw it at the wall, out of pure anger. I was so angry at him. How could he? Just throw our two year relationship away like that! But you know what? I don't care anymore. I got a new boyfriend who loves me. I got up and walked over to my mirror. I wiped away the tears and looked at myself.
"No, Leslie. You are not doing this! You are not going to sit and cry over something that happened two years ago!" I walked over to my closet and looked for an outfit.
"You are going out, and are going to have fun! This, this Leslie, is not you!" I changed and fixed my make up as I walked down stairs.
"Where are you going?" Dad asked sweetly.
"Why do you care?" I snapped back. I grabbed his keys off the table and walked out the door before he could say anything else. I got into the red sports car and started the car.
"Watch out, world. Leslie's back to normal, and she feels better than ever." I said to myself as I smirked to myself in the mirror. I backed out of the driveway and drove to a small supermarket nearby. Looks like I'm going to be getting kicked out of somewhere soon. I walked in and saw about ten fourteen through seventeen year olds just hanging around. They looked bored out of their minds, and there was no cashier around. I smirked as I thought of a fun way to lighten up the place. I grabbed a small bottle of soda and frantically shook it.
"Food fight!" I screamed as I opened the cap as it erupted into soda rain. The people laughed as they grabbed food and threw it at each other. I opened a bag of crisps and threw them at people as laughter filled the store. This was the kind of fun I missed. A huge smile made its way across my face.
"What is going on, here?" The cashier yelled once he came back. Everyone stayed silent so I decided to break the ice. I groaned.
"You sound like my father!" I grabbed a slice of cake and threw it at his face as everyone burst out laughing. I joined in laughing as we continued throwing food at each other. I didn't do this for the attention, or the reputation, or anything else like that. I simply did this because it was fun. It made me happy. The cashier came running to me.
"You are responsible for this!" I took some of the icing off his face and ate it.
"Yes, I am. Here's the money to pay for everything that went to waste." I grabbed the wallet I found in Dad's car and took out a junk load of money. I piled it on his hand and laughed as I screamed to the other people.
"Keep having fun!" I threw one last donut and walked out laughing. I took off the hoodie on my way to the car and left it on the street. I got in the car. Next stop, the movie theater. I pulled up to a small movie theater and looked at the choices.
"Let me have one ticket for Tonight Everyone Will Die." The guy gave me a ticket and I walked in. I quickly ordered a large popcorn and three bags of Skittles. Don't judge me! It's for... medical reasons. I walled in twenty minutes late and sat in the way back. Everyone was really scared, you could tell. I smirked and grabbed a small handful of popcorn and threw it at the people in front of me, which caused them to scream. I laughed and opened a bag of Skittles. I grabbed some and threw it at people while screaming.
"Taste the freaking rainbow!" Soon, a man came up to me.
"Ma'am- " I cut him off.
"Leslie, I'm going to have to ask you to leave." I stood up and screamed.
"Don't mind if I do! By the way, it's all just a dream at the end!" I yelled at the people, causing them to groan. I walked out and drove to one of my most favorite places in the world. Splash!
"Who missed me?" I yelled, walking in. Brian and Sasha looked up and instantly ran and hugged me.
"Girl, you have a lot to catch up on." Sasha said. I laughed and walked to my 'office' as I would like to call it.
"Just send who ever it is!" I yelled as I walked through the door.
Three Hours Later
By the time I was leaving, I had already tattooed a rose, two names, two quotes, a heart, and a Batman logo. I got in my car and headed to another one of my favourite places. My gym. I walked in and Tim and I went off at each other. After that, I taught people for about an hour before I decided to hit home. Today, I had already told Sasha, Tim, and Brian that I had gotten over whatever happened two years ago and had a new boyfriend. I got home and threw the keys to Dad who was eating Dinner with Mum.
"Oh, by the way, you might have lost a few hundred dollars today." Dad's mouth fell open and I smirked. I went up to my bedroom and changed into some comfortable pajamas. I put up my hair in a messy bun and grabbed my phone. I dialed Tony's Pizza and ordered a medium pepperoni pizza. I went to my closet and looked for my small treasure box. When I was younger I had a small box and I put all my favourite things in there. I saw some of my old favourite Disney movie's and took them out. I had Lion King, Monsters Inc, Lady and the Tramp, and Beauty and the Beast. What can I say? I'm a child at heart. I heard the doorbell ring and raced down before my parents could get it.
"That'll be ten dollars." A skinny, teenage boy said. I took out a twenty dollar bill from my Dad's wallet and handed it to him.
"Keep the change." I went back to my bedroom, ignoring my parents calls. That night I ate pizza and watched all my favourite movies. Best night ever.
