I watched him as he walked away from me, my mind screaming at me for being to so dumb. I wondered what I did wrong. Were the crepes not cook all the way? Was the tea not fragrant enough? These question bothered me as I wanted Sebastian to see that I was more than capable of being a Phantomhive maid. This man is very difficult to please.
I walked out to the dining hall and saw the young master was done eating. I walked over and picked up his plates, silverware, and tea cup. I smiled at him and walked back into the kitchen. I placed the dishes in the sink and turned on the hot water. I started t wash the dishes and felt as if someone was starring at me. I turned around to see Finny, "Finny! It was just you," I said relived that it wasn't Sebastian.
"Sorry I didn't mean to startle you, I just came to get some breakfast. Is something wrong?" He asked. I sighed and nodded, "Tell me about it!" He said smiling. I turned off the water and sat on the counter. He sat next to me, munching on an apple.
"I feel as if Sebastian does not want me here. It's very frustrating and I don't know what to do," I said resting my head on his shoulder.
"Don't worry about it, Sebastian doesn't really show any liking to anyone but the young master," he replied rubbing my back.
"I guess you're right, Finny," I sighed. I got up, "I have to finish the dishes, if I don't Sebastian will be very upset," he nodded and went on his way.
I walked out the kitchen with my hand wrapped in a napkin. I had accidentally cut myself on a knife. Maylene walked by me and almost fainted. I shook that off and went up to the study.
I walked inside and saw the young master sitting there at his desk. Of course Sebastian was right at his side. I sighed, "What is wrong Kyami?" Ciel asked.
"N-Nothing, sir," I stuttered. I didn't think he heard me. He gave me a look.
"Yes there is, I can tell," he said. I thought of something to say, but I knew he could read me like a book with Sebastian around.
"I just feel very unwelcomed sir," I said bowing my head down.
"What do you mean?"
"I just feel as if Sebastian doesn't want me around is all," I mumbled. He nodded and whispered to Sebastian. Sebastian gave me an angry look.
"Yes, my lord, " he said. He walked towards the door, motioning me to follow. I nodded and walked with him, "As you can see I am merely one hell of a butler. You my dear are merely one heavenly maid, that is to most people."
"What does that mean?" I asked offended.
"That to me you are a very respectable young lady, but I have my doubts about you, I have doubts on the fact whether or not you are using your beauty to manipulate people."
"I don't not manipulate, you twisted and demented soul!" He looked at my his red eyes glowing.
"If you wish to see a demented soul than you must follow me," he said almost evily. He continued walking until we made it to his bedroom. He opened the door and we walked in. I sat on the edge of his bed and he sat on a chair in front of me. I crossed my legs and arms.
"Why are we here?" I asked nervously.
"We are here because I would like to explain something to you," he replied, "I am no ordinary butler, I am what you humans call unholy,"
"You're a demon!" I yelled. He chuckled.
"Indeed I am, " He said, "Took long enough for someone to learn. You see I am literally one hell of a butler. By hell I mean demon."
"I've always wanted to meet a demon," I said smiling. He smiled back and stood up.
"Now that you know you must have so many questions."
"No I have one, can a demon fall in love?" His eyes widened at my words. He stood up and walked in front of the window.
"Yes a demon can fall in love."
