Tattooed Heart

He never meant to be a bad boy. He never wanted to fight, but if it's to protect his mum, he'll do anything for her. This warrior has a deep dark secret and is vulnerable when he's around her. She's the one who unlocks it all. (Hi, it's Maya. I am the same author of this story from Wattpad, so don't think I stole this story, because I am the same person who had posted this on Wattpad. 6. Six

The next morning, Evie-Mae did her usual morning routine. She woke up, freshened herself, and got dressed.

Today, she wore light-wash denim jeans, and a grey cotton hoodie. She wore her suede booties, that matched her sweater. She clipped the top of her hair, and then grabbed her book bag and phone.

As she made her way out, she grabbed a Granny Smith apple. She walked out of the door, and made her twenty minute walk to school.

Her phone vibrated, signaling a text from Zayn. She smiled, and responded to his message.

He had asked to take her to see Divergent. She had read the book, and was really excited to see the movie. She replied with a "yes", and that she could not wait to go with him.

After a long drag of a day, Evie-Mae was finally home. She barely had homework, so she finished up quickly, and went to take a shower.

She changed into darker skinny jeans, and a black long-sleeved crop top. She put her hair in a messy bun, and put on her converse.

The movie started at 6:30 in the evening, and it was only 5:30, so she decided to watch some television.

Her phone vibrated at 5:50, and it was from her father.

"I am gonna go out to dinner with some co-workers, so I'll be home later. Be safe, love you. Xx- Dad"

She responded with, "Okay, dad. Love you, and same to you. X"

Zayn then called her, announcing that he will be picking her up shortly, and that he needed her address. She had told him, and then they hung up.

Zayn was soon here, at 6:00, and they went on their cinema "hangout". Really, he wanted to take her on a date, but he barely knew her.

"How was your day?" He asked, taking a quick glance at her.

She looked back at him, "It felt like such a drag."

He chuckled, and made a left turn onto the main street. They drove a mile down, and made their way towards the highway. They soon reached the cinema, at 6:15, and paid for their tickets and their popcorn.

As they were halfway into the movie, Zayn received a text. It was from his friend, Andy, who had sent a group message warning about a fight.

"Boys, one of our guys got into a fight with one of the boys from Gales' guys. This is the start of a revolution. If this continues to happen, we are gonna have to meet up with those guys, and make some sort of truce. As for now, we need to meet up at the bar up on the main strip of town at 11pm, tonight. See you then.

-AS "

Zayn read the message and replied with an "okay". He slipped his iPhone back into his pocket, and scooted closer to Evie-Mae, who seemed to have paid no mind, as she was interested in the movie.

Zayn then wrapped his arm around her, and she leaned her head into his shoulder. Evie-Mae was going to look up at him, when someone interrupted the movie.

"HANDS UP WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!" A voice boomed.

Zayn looked back to see who it was, and noticed the guy right away. He looked back down, right away, catching Evie-Mae's frightful eyes. She was scared.

"I want you to run when I say run. You are going to take my car keys, and run to my car. When you reach my car, you are going to get in, lock the doors, and wait until I come. I am going to knock on the window firmly, and only once. You hear me, Evie-Mae?" Zayn explained, whispering to her.

She nodded, and Zayn handed her his keys. He took off his hoodie, and made her put it on. He pecked her cheek, and walked her to the exit, and made her wait.

All around her, people were frantically screaming, gathering loved ones, and pummeling towards exits. She saw Zayn ram into the guy, pushing him down. She then heard him yell "RUN!", and she ran.

She ran as fast as she could, her shoulder bag swaying as she looked for Zayn's car. Sirens were soon heard.

She found the car, but there were men surrounding it. They were all against the doors, watching as she backed away. She ran towards the crowds of people, hiding herself from them.

Tears were sliding down, because she wanted Zayn to be here. She wanted him to protect her from the men who lurk around his car.

She wanted him there, to keep her safe.
