27. It Doesn't Make Sense (Ana P.O.V)
----------- Ana POV ------------
After I left the room, I kept on walking down the long corridors of the huge building. I felt very uncomfortable and at this very moment I feel unbelievably uneasy being here. I do remember about what I said to Elsa, that we'd be together, but right now I regret promising her that. "If I came here to listen to Ruby boss Elsa around and Elsa bring things up that shouldn't be mentioned, then I'm sure to leave this place." For a while now, I've been walking down the bright halls caught up in my thoughts, but then I finally came to a end when I couldn't go any further down the halls. I couldn't go right or left anymore. It was unusually dark in this hallway compared to the others. The curtains of the massive windows were half-open and the chandeliers were dimly lit. "Damn it! I don't know where I am now!" It was pretty unusual for me to say any kind of unholy word, but right now none of it mattered. I've been unsteady for a while now... "Oh well. I'll just ask a servant or a guard a way back to my room." I turned around and walked to the other direction to look for a guard.
I've been walking down these corridors for some time now, but I still have not seen a single person in the halls. "This is strange... I'm pretty sure that when Ruby and I were talking earlier this morning, she told me that even after most the people go off to train, the guards and servants would definitely be around nearly everywhere... It doesn't make sense!" Suddenly I heard a giggle behind me. I was even more confused ; behind me was clearly a wall without any doors or any more corridors to go left or right. I whipped around and saw nobody behind me. I felt a shiver go down my spine. "Oh god... I must be tired from yesterday..." I almost turn around completely, but when I looked closely, I saw a dark shadow of a young girl with a long and over-sized scythe. The more I looked at her, the more visible she became. When I looked even more closely, she had very inhumane features. Her teeth were as sharp as a knife and her eyes were as dark as a black hole. The girl's scythe was a dark crimson ; almost close to a purple color. "She's clearly insane..." I yelled at her. "Who are you and where am I?!" It was pretty clear that she wouldn't answer me, but instead she said in a very low voice. "Human..." I felt goosebumps and I knew I should run, but my body wouldn't move. "Come on! Come on!! COME ON!!!" The girl was slowly coming near me as if to enjoy the moment. She was only a few feet from me, when she started to raise her scythe. When she was only a few inches from me, there was a very sudden crash not so far away. The girl stopped walking towards me and froze right where she was standing. I heard a voice from behind me. This time it was a very familiar, and somehow comforting, voice. "ANA!!!"
