I walked into the woods and walked to the place Ana showed me yesterday. And surely enough
Ana was sitting on the bench covered in moss. I walked up to her and sat down beside her
quietly. She didn't look up. I knew she wasn't going to talk to me so I whispered " I'm sorry I said
mean things earlier. I didn't mean to say those things. " Ana looked up and wiped her tears. Then
she said " Apology accepted. And it's alright if you slay those monsters. " I looked at her
surprised and asked " What's got into you? " Ana then replied " I figured that it's better to slay
those monsters instead of more people suffering like us. So what are you going to do next to kill
those hideous things. " " About that... Um... Well... " Ana looked at me straight in the eye then
asked " Well what? " I hesitatingly thought about what to say. I thought that I just couldn't tell her
that I made a contract with a Messenger. " You can tell me what you're thinking. I'm not like
Patricia who always makes a big fuss out of everything. " I stared at her then took a deep breath.
" I joined the war. " " What?! " " I knew it you going to react like that. I shouldn't have said that. "
Then Ana said " It's not a problem. I was just really surprised. I thought you were just going to
be like a spy and work without anybody noticing! " " Well the thing is... A Messenger asked me
to go fight in the war. It took a long time for her to convince me to join but then I finally said yes.
Then she lied to me and told me to sign a contract. I tried to stop but when I said yes that was
like the end of the conversation. So I'm practically a warrior now. " Ana looked at me weirdly
then smiled. " Well I guess it's not that bad! " It was my turn to look at her weirdly " You're not
mad? " " Why would I be? " I kept on staring at her. " So it's not a problem? " She got up and
said " It wouldn't be a problem as long I'm with you! " " Wait. What?! " She turned around at me
and said " I'm going to come with you and fight in the same war you're going to fight in! "
