11. Chapter 11

~~*************Lizzie’s p.o.v*************
I have been in hospital 4 days and Morgan hasn’t visited once and I don’t know why. Mum come for an hour a day and dad comes the hour after. But Morgan never comes. When mum comes she reads me the newspaper and dad plays my favourite songs (She Looks So Perfect, Wings and You & I ) and all the songs he played when I was little so I could dance to them. They don’t know I can think but they do know I can hear. I can’t work out why I can’t wake up. Apparently I will be paralysed from the waist down when I wake up. That made mum cry and dad dropped his favourite CD when he heard. I wanted to scream.
When dad had left someone else came in, 3 people in fact. They sat down either side of my bed.
“Can she hear nurse?” said a familiar Australian voice. I guess she nodded.
“Hello Lizzie,” said the voice again, “we came to let you know that Calum Hood is dead.” I wanted to cry and tell them I was sorry.
“ It was suicide,” said another voice, Australian and familiar, “ but he commited it because your friend Morgan said he was going to kill him.”
“ So at my birthday party,”  said the last Australian and familiar voice, “after Harry had a shard of glass shoved in his neck we found Calum in the toilets with a large shard of glass stuck in his chest.” They left it there. They said they didn’t blame me. They said they wanted me to get better. But I knew they did blame me and they didn’t want me to get better because it would hurt Morgan more. Thinking of Morgan that’s why he hadn’t visited, he didn’t want to be near me because he knew he would feel guilty. Oh well, at least mum and dad came. I needed someone to understand, to believe I can wake up. I need to wake up, I need to stop Morgan.
