~~I blinked and looked at my surroundings. I was in a bright green meadow, with birds chirping and flowers blooming before my eyes. I'd never seen anything so beautiful. I took a deep breath of the springy air, taking a couple steps forward and then I stopped in my tracks. I was being watched.
It was a beautiful thing. No, a girl. Not even that. She was some type of fairy, or pixie or something. She had silky-looking wings attached to her back, with long, wavy brown hair somewhat covering them. She had a green leaf dress, and a headband of what looked like dead leaves in the fall. She blinked at me with her blue eyes, her cheeks flushing red.
"Uhm, hello," she stammered, not quite absorbing what she was seeing. She flew out from under her willow tree and flew over to me. The barefoot fairy left a trail of sparkles behind her as she flew. She landed and put her hand out.
"Hi, I'm Mushoo," she stated. I put my hand out to shake hers and said uneasily, "Uhm, Hello. I'm Lynne. What is this place?"
"Oh," she giggled. "This is 8D. The home of all fantasy. There's dryads like me, dragons, pixies, sprites, minotaurs, giant ladybugs, princesses like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and... I'm already talking your ear off, aren't I?"
I nodded and giggled, and my giggles turned into snorts. I heard faint laughing and looked around, suddenly uneasy again.
Mushoo looked startled. Then she smiled. "Oh, sorry. My pixie and sprite friends were also watching to see you, uhm... GUYS, YOU CAN COME OUT NOW!!!"
I stepped back. She had a big voice for such a tiny frame.
One of the fairy-like animals approached me silently and carefully, looking me up and down.
"You're afraid of the Bogeyman, aren't you?" She asked, much to sure of herself to be guessing. I squinted. I was.
"You're afraid of the Bogeyman."
I blinked. And nodded.
"H-H-How do y-you know th-that?" I stammered.
Mushoo rolled her eyes. "Moka, quit scaring Lynne. What if she's..." She gulped and whispered the last part quietly, as if she was afraid somebody else would hear her. "The one?"
I truly love fantasy. It's so enjoyable. I'm trying my best to explain it how I see it, but you can let your imagination run wild!
