3. Getting to know and convince
Niall and I talked on Monday too. He was nice although he had wacky ideas sometimes.
//Talk with the cameras on?//
I balked. Why not? He called me up with the camera on and I replied. He smiled when he saw my face and I must admit he was cute.
"So that's was you looked like?"
He smiled and I saw that he seemed interested in me.
"You're the first one I have done this with." said Niall and I believed him. He blushed and he leaned back.
"So what're you doing this weekend?"
"The usual! Sitting in the room and be alone?"
"Can't we meet?"
"You don't even live here, and why would we meet?"
Niall raised an eyebrow and seemed to think about a good answer.
"Mom wont let me go somewhere right now. Not as long as there's a killer out there."
Niall didn't seem to care.
"But if I go to you?"
"No, I don't know you and they will be mad if you come here. My mom's over-protective."
Niall grinned a little bit.
"I had also been that I was her. But if I come on the day and you say you are with a friend?"
"I don't know!"
He smiled and he leaned against the computer.
"I promise to buy you food."
I laughed a little bit and was amused.
"You mean you come here just to eat with me?"
Niall seemed to think it was a good cause.
"Well, you get the opportunity to get to know me?"
"I still have to say no, but in a week maybe. I don't even know you?"
He smiled charmingly.
"Get to know me. Ask a lot of questions and I will answer."
I sighed and tried to think of a good question.
"Yes, you want to change that?"
"No thanks!" I mumbled. "It was just a question."
He was also amused.
"Are you single? Because now you asked me."
"Yes, I'm lonely and single."
I came up with more questions.
Niall raised his eyebrows.
"Green.... The only colour that really is perfect. And you?"
"Pink or red or ... I have many colours."
Niall was nice. He liked blonde girls, even though I was a brunette. He hated people who were narrow minded, and he used to always be connected to the net. His father worked abroad and his mother worked twelve hours a day. He himself was lazy and he loved to just sit.
"So what do you do when you aren't at your computer? Have you no friends or anyone who you hang out with?"
"I'm online guy. Everyone I know is here in the computer."
"And don't you go to school?"
He shook his head.
"I'm twenty years old, I hate school and I don't want to be forced to sit still. I want to do what suits me."
I didn't understand how he could be so boring.
"Get a job!"
He laughed a little bit.
"I'm a loner and I hate to be forced to obey. I know I have to pull myself together, but I do it whenever I want."
He nodded with satisfaction.
"And I like it! So should we meet?"
I could do nothing but laugh.
"Why? You don't like people and you don't seem to be the type who likes to be social. I can't help you there?"
"Well, by being my friend? Wannabe my friend?"
"We're friends, if you haven't understand it?"
He smiled and he blushed.
"Good, because I want a friend!"
I swallowed and smiled at him. He was odd. He wasn't like any other person, but it was as if that part attracted me. He was cute and he was charming in a quirky way. Niall let nobody take control of him and he tried to be nice to me.
"If I say no?"
"No is no answer, I want you to give me a chance. I'm a normal guy who's just am who I am."
I raised my eyebrows.
"So can I come? Just a day and I promise not to do something silly. I just want to see you."
"And you go home later?"
"Yes, when we are done with each other I'm going home. After that we are sitting at your computer and talk?"
I hesitated, but I didn't want to disappoint him.
"Okay, on Friday at three o'clock to five o'clock. Then I have to home."
Niall shook his head quickly.
"Not on Friday. Saturday and all day?"
"How will I explain this to Mom?"
"A buddy and you eat food with her. You are with me and I'll leave your town promptly at four, one hour before going home?"
