I watched her during class, and at lunch. It was just the same as it always was. When she went up to get her lunch, I followed.
"Ok, be a man, talk to her" I thought.
She got her lunch and so did I. I walked up to her and just as I was about to say something, she slipped.
She slipped on some spilt milk and right into my arms. Her lunch went all over my shirt. But I didn't care.
"O my gosh, I'm so sorry" she said.
"Hey, don't worry about it, it's just a shirt."
"It looks really cute on you though, sorry I ruined it."
I looked right into her bright blue eyes and smiled. She smiled back, then we both started laughing.
"Let me buy you a new lunch" I said.
She followed me back as we both bought new lunches.
"Mind if I sit with you today?" I asked.
"Sure, if you really want to".
I followed her to her usual table and we sat and ate together. We talked about all kinds of stuff.
You can really learn a lot about someone in 45 minutes. I learned that lost her mom to cancer when she was 8 and that her dad left shortly after, so now she lives with her grandparents.
I told her that I live with both my parents and my little sister Maggie.
"Your really good at football" she said.
"Just average" I said.
I never wanted lunch to end. I knew she was the girl for me. She is just so beautiful and perfect, like a princess.
When lunch ended she followed me back to class. She sat in her seat and I sat in mine. When I would look over at her I would catch her looking at me, she would smile and I would smile back.
