They landed in the camp shortly after the sun had broke the horizon. Fully equipped with weapons they approached the camp slowly. Trevor, daggers in hand that glowed ebony. Snow had a bow around her torso and a larger sword that glowed a golden color. Heather had a belt full of knives and large daggers for throwing. She also had little bombs that sprayed out deadly neuro-toxin that she made herself. Luke had another sword that, instead of gold, radiated a silver color and thrummed in his hand. The man that Luke introduced as Jacob was standing in front of them with two younger kids behind him.
"I'm sorry for intruding again, Jacob." Luke said to him.
"It is alright, who are these people that you have brought here though?" He asked. Trevor stepped forward and introduced them.
"I'm Trevor, God of the air. This-" He gestured to Snow, "this is Snow, she is a hybrid but she controls ice and snow, respectively. And this is Heather, I don't know if you know her but she says she was an assassin before the Collapse. She has the power of deadly poisons and super speed." He said. Jacob nodded and put a hand on both of the kids.
"This is Natalie, she has the power of seeing the past, present and future. She also has the ability to hide other people's powers." Jacob said before turning to the other boy. "This is Patrick, he has the power to mimic other people's ability, he also has super speed." Jacob said. "And I have the power of healing others and I can use a sort of laser that comes out of my hands. but otherwise, I've taught myself how to fight."
"Are they your kids?" Snow asked, looking down at them.
"No, I took them in during the Collapse and we have been looking for a home ever since." Jacob said. She nodded before Trevor spoke up,
"So the reason we came here is to find our missing friends, you've met them before. We wanted to know if you could help us." Trevor stated.
"I am more than willing to help you find them. I don't know how much of help we can be though as we have never been to the other group's camp." Jacob responded.
"That doesn't matter as long as we have you on our side to fight with us. Thank you." Trevor said going to shake his hand, Jacob winced and pulled back.
"Sorry, when they came it wasn't the most pleasant meeting. They messed up my hand pretty good." Jacob lightly laughed. Flitiarn came out from behind the tree's, still nose down to the ground trying to pick up Hailee's scent. Jacob's eyes grew wide as the tall, dark wolf approached them, Lykos close behind him.
"So do we need to worry about two Alpha wolves eating us?" Patrick asked, finally speaking up. Trevor let out a laugh, running a hand on Lykos' soft white fur.
"No they won't eat you. The white one is my spirit animal, his name is Lykos. The other one's name is Flitiarn, he's Hailee's wolf." Trevor said. Flitiarn let out what the boy thought was a low growl and a whine and Trevor nodded to him. Snow gave him a sad look.
"I know Flitiarn, but we'll find her." Trevor said sympathetically.
"You can understand him?" Natalie asked quietly. "He just sounds like hes growling."
"That's because I only talk to those who I believe are capable of hearing me." Flitiarn said clearly now. The girl gasped and Patrick's eyes got wide. Jacob chuckled to himself as he watched the two kids be amazed.
"Wow that's amazing! How do you do that?" Patrick asked him.
"All animals can do it not just me." Flitiarn said to them before turning to his group. "I was saying that I picked up Hailee's and Zander's scent but it won't be as close as we thought." Flitiarn said.
"As close? It's about a two day run from here! It's a pretty long way away if you ask me." Lykos said.
"It's do able though." Luke pitched in.
"So, that's it then are you with us to find our friends?" Trevor said holding out a hand to Jacob. He took it and shook it with his good hand.
"We are with you till the end, God of air." Jacob responded. Patrick and Natalie bowed.
"Good, I'm glad to hear it. We can put the two kids on Flitiarn's back for now and you can be on Lykos, Jacob." Trevor added. He nodded before turning his back on them and heading for his tent. They waited for them to pack up their things before they put them evenly on each wolf's back and then took off in search to find their friends. Trevor just hopped they didn't do anything bad to Hailee.
