This was finally it. He was finally going to agree, the time was right. I felt nothing but excitement run through my body. But, when he got to my neck, he took off. I wanted to follow him, but he ran off to the woods. After about 5 minutes of deciding, I decided to find him. Quietly and carefully I walked in the woods until I found a house I knocked on the door and a guy answered.
"Is Sebastian here?" I asked a little angry.
"Yes he is, you must be Miranda." He smiled.
"I am and I need to speak with Sebastian now."
He let me in and led me to the living room where Sebastian was sitting on the couch. I crossed my arms, and he looked up and saw me. He seemed shocked that I was there, but he could see the anger in my eyes.
"Tell me what is going on now!" I demanded, and partially yelled.
"Miranda I can't okay we are going to leave it at that."
"The hell we are! You tell me NOW Sebastian!" I yelled.
"No," he said firmly.
"Fine have a nice life, I am leaving." I said then began to walk out.
"What do you mean your leaving?" He asked, causing me to stop.
"I am done Sebastian, I am leaving you. I never want to see you again."
"Miranda please wait!"
I left the house and slammed the door. Now I was furious. About halfway through the woods I stopped, and sat on the ground and cried. Then a girl appeared, I had seen her before. I saw her in the hospital. She was with the guy that had opened the door. What did she want with me? Why did she even care what happened?
"You know Sebastian really cares right?" She sat next to me.
"I don't care." I snapped.
"And why not?" She asked.
I found myself crying more, "he says he loves me and says he wants me, but he always avoids anything. He almost seems disgusted by me, or at least that's how I feel."
"Oh sweetie, It's not that. I know that for a fact. I have known Sebastian for like a hundred years and he has not even looked at a woman, you're the first."
"Then why does he keep pushing me away?" I looked at her.
"He is protecting you, and there is a reason behind it. Personally none of us know what it is, he hasn't told us. But, we do know that it may involve something bad."
"I don't care. I'm so tired of being pushed away, if he wants to push me away then I'm gone."
"Don't do that, that will break his heart."
"I thought vampire hearts don't beat."
She laughed a little, "They don't, but we still have feelings."
I sighed, "I just can't stand to be pushed away anymore."
"So what is it you really want Miranda?"
"I want him to show he loves me, why is he so afraid to bite me? All it will do is have us be together forever."
"Miranda you don't realize that when you turn a lot of stuff will change. Your taste buds will change a lot, so will your body. When I was turned I ached for a month, couldn't hardly even move. My body almost rejected it, and if it does, you die."
"Do you think that's what he is afraid of?" I asked a little worried.
"It's a possibility."
She stayed sitting down by me. I felt really comforted by her, even though I really didn't know who she was. There was something about her, she seemed to sweet and almost familiar. I doubt I've ever seen her before but I don't know. Why couldn't my mother of been as nice as her? We heard a twig break meaning someone was coming. She jumped up and quickly and got in front of me, she was protecting me. No one had ever tried to protect me before. When the person appeared, she had gotten ready to attack them then she stopped. I couldn't see anything but she stepped to the side and I saw Sebastian.
"Miranda we need to talk," he said looking at me.
