I looked around the house to make sure nobody was here. All clear!!!
My heartbeat was racing a million miles an hour. My head was racing just as fast that I couldn’t even tell what I was thinking. I raced to the door which was obviously locked, duh, and to my surprise I was shocked. I felt like I was having a panic attack and couldn’t control myself. I managed to get my breathing under control and I sat down and tried to think carefully.
After a while of thinking hard I came up with what I thought was the perfect plan. But I had to act fast just in case they got back soon. I raced around the house to find a backpack, food, water and bandages just in case I got hurt while escaping. Just the thought of that word made me smile.
I raced to a window and smashed it open with the rolling pin I grabbed from the kitchen earlier. I carefully climbed out the window, careful not to cut myself on the glass. My feet reached the dirt and I smiled. The first real smile I had smiled since I have been in this hell hole.
I looked at my surroundings and decided to go left of the dirt road that lead towards civilization. I didn’t want to be seen by the boys when they head back. I ran for what seemed like forever, but eventually got tired and needed a break. I didn’t want to stop completely because that could give the boys more ground to catch up to me when they realize that I am gone. I can’t get caught, or I know I will be tortured to death.
It was getting late and at the moment I was walking in a fast pace. Thanks to my brilliant mind I thought to pack a knife just in case there was wild dogs or something. I reached into my bag and grabbed it out sure to have it on me during the night.
It seemed like a quiet wildlife out here. It was really dark and only the moonlight shone me a path to take. Luckily I was out of all the really thick bush before sunset and I was now in more of a field with trees everywhere than a bush.
As I reached the top of a hill I had been climbing, I seen lights. I looked closely and it was a small town. My heart raced with excitement and relief. I ran my little heart out all the way to the town which was actually a long while away. When I reached it I looked around making sure that I didn’t bump into any unwanted surprises.
I seen a police station and ran to it, my heart beating so loud I could hear it.
I ran inside and there was two police officers there. They looked at me weirdly and then started talking with concern in there voice.
“Are you okay? Can I help you?”
“Please help me!!! I was kidnapped and I just managed to get away then!!!”
The two police officers ran towards me and started asking me a heap of question.
“What’s your name?”
“Where are you from Anna?”
“You’re a long, long way away from home! Are you hurt?”
“Of course I’m hurt! I was just kidnapped you imbasil”
God what was he an idiot. He seemed taken aback by my comment but I didn’t care. I just wanted out of here.
Will the police help Anna??? Or are they bad cops??? Will Anna ever escape??? I guess you'll have to wait till next chapter then *evil laugh*
and I just wanted to apologize for taking so long to update!!! Love you guys <3 Dharma
