I flipped my bag over my shoulder and ran down the stairs. Last day of the last year. I was about to graduate from college, and was going to have an amazing summer with my friends.
"Emma, hurry up!", my mom yelled from the kitchen, as I heard a car pull into the driveway.
"Yeah, I'm coming!" I hopped over the last step on the stairs, and saw my best friend in the car, Cara.
"Last day, huh?", Cara said.
"Yeah, pretty amazing", I said, "we are going to have the best summer".
My brother, James, was going on tour with British boy band, One Direction, playing guitar. Cara and I was gonna be with them the whole summer, and we just couldn't wait. I personally liked Harry the best, but Cara was crazy about Niall. Pretty lucky since they were both single. I wouldn't call myself a Directioner. I have listened to their music, and it sounded great.
We were leaving in the next day for London. Brighton was a great town, but I couldn't wait leaving for London.
Cara pulled into the parking lot at the school, and we hurried to class.
I didn't really listen at history class, therefore I was very relieved, when we were sent for lunch in the cafeteria.
Cara and I ate our salads and talked about the summer vacation.
"I haven't packed my clothes, and could really need some help. Would you like to come over after school?", I asked Cara.
"Yeah, sounds great", she replied.
I was so tired at the end of the day, sitting in the passenger seat of Cara's car. When we finally arrived at my house, we went to my room, packed my clothes. Summer dresses, skirts, shorts, t-shirts, bathing suits and a lot of other summer clothes. It was really fun packing, and afterwords we watched a movie and planned the trip.
Cara went home, and I called my brother, James.
"Hey, how are you?" I asked as he picked up the phone.
"Great, I'm with the lads right now so I can't really talk. How are you?"
"Excellent, I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. You are going to pick Cara and me up, right?", I asked doing the puppy eyes.
"Yeah, I will".
I heard in the background a guy yelling: "Hey Emma!!".
"That was just Louis", James said, filling me in.
I laughed, and said that he could say hey from me.
We ended the call.
