The Magcon event just finished. It was a blast. Jack and Jack sung one of their new songs and it was so good. I already downloaded it in iTunes of course.
It was late and everyone was heading back up to our rooms. "Hey, Jocelyn," Mahogany said, pulling me aside. "Do you think you could sleep in someone else's room?"
I look from her to Jacob, who is standing by the elevator and raise my eyebrows. "Sure thing."
"Thanks so much, girl. I owe you one," she says briefly hugging me.
Oh crap. I have to go ask Cameron. I can't ask Taylor because I'm pretty sure he's still mad at me and Cam would not be happy. I go knock on his door.
"Hey, babe, what's up?" he asks running a hand through his hair.
"Um, can I stay in here tonight? Mahogany kicked me out," I say.
"Yeah, of course. Let me warn Nash first," he closes the door. Two minutes later he opens it again. "Ok, come on in."
I walk past him. Nash is sitting on his bed on his phone. "Hey Jocelyn," he says. "So is Jacob getting some tonight? Is that why you got kicked out?"
"That would be my guess, unless they plan to stay up all night and watch The Notebook."
He laughs. "Probably not." He plugs his phone in and sets it on the night stand. "I'm going to sleep."
He lays down and five minutes later he's passed out. Cameron and I decide to talk for a bit.
"So this girl came up to me today and said 'I love you Nash' to me and her friend smacked her and corrected her. It was he funniest thing," he says.
"Some told me that if she were me, she'd ask to go to the pool everyday so that she could see all of you shirtless." We both laugh.
"Did she actually say that?" he asks.
"Yeah, and it was hilarious."
"I bet. Some girl totally felt up my abs today while we were taking a picture."
"Don't blame her. You're pretty damn ripped," I say.
"You're pretty damn beautiful."
I blush. "Why don't we go to bed," I say.
"You can have the bed, I'll sleep on the ground," I offer.
"We can both sleep on the same bed, can't we?" he suggests.
"I don't know if I'm comfortable with that," I say.
"You were perfectly comfortable sleeping in the same bed as Taylor the first night," he accuses. I can't believe he just said that.
"I'm sorry. I've only known you for, what, a week? And you're mad because I won't sleep in the same bed as you?"
"It's not like I'm going to try anything. Nash is sleeping right next to us," he says.
"I know, but I just don't feel comfortable and I'm not going to do something I'm uncomfortable with," I say. I know hundreds of girls would kill to be in my position. But I'm not that girl, and if he wants someone like that, he can go find one.
"Fine, you're right. I'm not going to pressure you," he lightens up. "You can have the bed, I'll sleep on the floor."
I don't argue, I just crawl into his bed as he sets up on the ground. "I'm sorry, Jocelyn," he says.
"It's fine, good night."
