22. Untamed Fury

Chapter Twenty-Two

Untamed Fury

I knew Zayn’s fury was out of control. He was pissed that everything from the night I was in the hospital, got leaked. He was probably going to go pound on Louis for what happened, and chances were that maybe he was involved in what happened. Still, I didn’t want to have him lose it on a close friend of his, especially when it was only a possibility.

I ran off to meet Pao at the location we agreed on. I arrived at the park and saw her standing there with Marco, her brother. Normally I would have shown how happy I was to see him, since it has been a long time since I last saw him, but there was just no time for welcome hugs.

“What’s going on?” Pao asked frantically.

“Look, there’s no time. But those photos that got leaked, they have Zayn losing it and I think he’s gonna do something really stupid!” I said, my tone racing from how freaked out I was.

“Dude, how do you even know Zayn and the One Direction boys?” Marco asked, excitedly.

“Marco, I will answer all your questions, but right now we have to roll!”

He didn’t argue, and I felt bad that I didn’t even welcome him home. At the moment, all I could think of was getting to Zayn before anything happened. He was enraged, something I’ve never seen him in. Marco drove quickly, but taking smaller streets to avoid all the traffic lights. I was worried about potentially being stopped by the police, but time was of the essence. I had no idea what could potentially go down between Zayn and Louis. I felt a little responsible for what was going on, mostly because this animosity between Louis and me, was causing division. It had already caused division between Zayn and him, and now it was causing a division between all the boys.

We finally made it to the boys’ house, and noticed Zayn’s car parked kind of crooked. I jumped out of the car and ran to the house. Entering, I heard Zayn yelling out loud. He was so angry, he sounded scary. I finally ran to the back room, where Lulú was also present. She had an evil grin on, which confirmed that she was amused by what was going on.

            “Zayn!” I called him out.

He turned. “What are you doing here?!”

            “You need to stop!”

“No, he needs to answer for what’s happened! And she does too!” Zayn yelled, pointing at Lulú. “That evil conniving snake was the one who put you up to this, didn’t she?!”

“Are you going to let him speak to me that way?!” Lulú tried acting like she was somehow the victim in this messed up scenario.

“No baby!” Louis shot me a hateful glare. “I’m not! And of course this was probably cooked up by that little wanker over there!” Louis pointed. “You’ve been nothing but trouble for us. How much I wish that you never entered our lives!”

“Don’t you blame him for anything!” Zayn’s eyes were wide with anger. “He’s done nothing to you, and all you’ve done is bully him for something he never did!”

“You really do believe that he didn’t rob us?!” Louis yelled.

“Oh believe me. He didn’t do it. Lulú over here did!” Zayn said with such assurance, that it was as if he somehow had evidence of this. “Lulú was the one who did all of this. She’s the one responsible for all the bad things that have happened since two years ago!” he looked at a now freaked out Lulú. She was clearly trembling inside. It was like he somehow knew something that could easily expose her for who she really was.

“Don’t let him speak to me that way!” Lulú cried out. She was good at hiding the malice with that cry, but I wasn’t fooled, and neither was Zayn.

I looked over at Pao and Marco. I’d nearly forgotten they were there because of the chaos that was going on.

Louis walked up close to Zayn, their faces mere inches away. “Get out of this house now! You left us, now you’re no longer welcome!”

Lulú smiled evilly. She was clearly amused by this division between them.

“Don’t forget that this is also my house. It’s not just your house, or the rest of the boys’. It’s also my house, and I will come in and out any time I feel like it! And if someone should not be here it’s that criminal for a girlfriend you have!” Zayn said harshly, and so angrily, that for a moment it seemed as if he was about to choke.

“The only criminal here is him!” Louis pointed at me.

“No, you desperately want him to be the criminal, but it’s not him! It’s her…and trust me when I tell you that really soon, she’s going to fall and hit herself so hard, she’s never going to recover from all the bad she’s done!” Zayn again said with an assurance that was a little scary.

Now, Lulú was scared. It was as if she somehow knew that Zayn had some kind of evidence against her. Zayn was not the kind of person to toss out empty promises or threats. His words always contained truth and integrity.

Knowing that and looking at the expression Lulú had, how panicked she was now, I knew for a fact that Zayn had something that could easily destroy her. Now, I was scared. What if she did something to Zayn? No, I already lost my brother to a bullet. I cannot lose him. Not him, not Zayn!

“Get him out of here now!” Lulú yelled, crying. She was trembling with fear and despair. She knew that she was going to be exposed, and I had no doubt in my mind that she was going to try and stop that from happening.

“Get out now!” Louis warned again. “Don’t even show your face here…I will keep the charade when we have concerts and events like the one tonight. But never cross another word with me ever again! Our friendship is done!”

I was shocked, as was Pao and Marco, who were all quiet like me.

Zayn looked hurt, but he stood firm. “I will do you one better. I’m not going to tonight’s thing, not if you’re going to bring your criminal with you!”

“Yes she’s coming! And nothing’s going to stop that from happening. She deserves the spotlight, unlike that little wanker who just wants to feed off of our fame!”

“Don’t you ever call him that!” Zayn said in a slow but angry tone.

“I will call him that because it’s what he is!” Louis spat.

Without thinking twice, Zayn punched Louis so hard that he landed on the floor. To my surprise, Louis didn’t retaliate. He just spat blood on the floor, and laughed. “You’re going to regret this Zayn!”

“The one that will regret it, is you!” Zayn now looked at Lulú with eyes of anger. An anger that was untamed and scary. “Especially her…because she’s going to be exposed sooner than she thinks!”

“Get him out of here now!” Lulú continued to panic. “I can’t take this anymore!”

“Scared that all your dirty deeds and secrets are going to be exposed?!” Zayn threatened.

Lulú’s expression was scary. So scary that I knew she was somehow plotting on how she was going to shut Zayn down from trying to bring her down.

“Zayn, let’s get out of here now!” I begged. “Please!”

He wasn’t moving. It was like the anger he had blazing inside him was paralyzing him and could not cause his body to move. I grabbed hold of his tattooed arm, feeling his toned and tight muscles, tensing from the anxiety he was under. He finally moved, and the four of us walked out of the house.

Exiting, Pao and Marco were speechless and unable to say a thing. I’d brought them, but not a whole lot happened and felt awkward telling them I was going to ride with Zayn.

“Are you ok?” Marco asked Zayn.

“I’m ok mate…thank you for your concern” Zayn smiled.

“Look, if you’re a good friend of Mehmet’s, then you’re also a friend to us. He’s important to us too” said Marco.

“He’s very important to me too” Zayn looked like he wanted to cry. “It just angered me to know that someone leaked those photos of Mehmet at the hospital, for something that he’s suffering from that’s caused him pain!”

“I know and when Paola showed me the website, it pissed me off too to know that someone could be that messed up to expose a boy like that!”

“I don’t know if Louis is behind it too, but I know that girlfriend of his is definitely involved!” Zayn gritted his teeth. “It burns me up inside that she would do such a thing!”

“Look, if Lulú is behind this…then we’ve got yours and Mehmet’s backs” said Paola. “I know that Mehmet is innocent of all the things he was accused off two years ago.”

“And he is…it’s been confirmed to me” Zayn said.

“How? What evidence do you have?” I asked.

Louis and Lulú walked out, and that was our cue to leave. Marco and Paola jumped into their car and left. Both me and Zayn followed, and he drove off quickly.
