It was the day that Charlie was leaving us to go and live in America with her family. We were all so upset but happy for her at the same time. We all went down to the park just down her road so we could all say goodbye with out her parents being there. I sat down on the grass with all the others and we just talked about all the things we had done in the past, all of our memories.
As soon as we sat down on the field I felt butterflys in my tummy just flying about everywhere. It was nice to talk to them all without my parents being there.
"Remember that time when we got invited to Chloe Maden's party and we all got drunk, then the next morning we woke up in the middle of her living room so we snuck back to Roni's house"
Cat said. We all burst out laughing. We had such good memories together and nothing could make me forget them.
After I had said good bye to all of my friends, I walked back to my house and stood outside waiting for me was my dad. I ran over to him and gave him the biggest hug possible!
"I am going to miss you so much char" He said with tears welling up in his eyes.
I'd never seen my dad cry before but I didn't care, I started crying to.
"I love you dad" I said.
He told me that he loved me too.

We made our way to the airport. It only took about 30 minutes to get to Heathrow form where we lived. When we got there we checked in and handed in our luggage. My sister was so excited. My brother was going to come and meet us on his breaks and my mum and step-dad would pay for his flights over here.
We finally got on the plane, we had mini TV's on the back of our seats which was pretty cool as the last time I went abroad I was 8. Me and my sister sat next to eachother. I do love my sister but I'm not going to lie I wasn't looking forward to sitting with her for 10 hours straight.
