The Oncoming Storm

2. A Tear of What The Hell

The Doctor chuckled and stepped into the police box. I on the other hand stumbled out.

"What's wrong?" Asked the Doctor

"I don't know...." I said "it feels so wrong. So powerful, like it's, it's seeing into my head. Examining every aspect if my personality."

"You'll get used to it, everyone else does." Said the Doctor

"Oh am I just an 'everybody else' now?" I asked hands in my hips

"You know, you remind me of someone that I know. But who?"

"I don't know maybe 'everybody else'" I sneered

"Don't be like that." Said the Doctor a note if playful mischief in his voice

"I will be if I want to!" I said, I was yelling now my mind was filled with confusion and fear. My head was spinning and I felt something wet on my face, I was crying.

"Come with me." Said the Doctor, pulling my arm into the blue police box.

I dug my heels into the ground and resisted the Doctor's strong grip. We got to the opening of the police box and my heels got caught on the door pane. I fell onto the ground with a crash.

"What the hell?" I yelled standing up as the Doctor closed the door to the Police box. "What are you doing?"

I watched the Doctor with difficult indifference, he was flitting around so much that it was hard not to wonder what he was doing.

There was a loud whooshing sound and a crunching sound.

I pushed open the door of the box and stared out the door. We were not in New York anymore unless New York was filled with huge spruce trees and what were these things? They were small and round, but they didn't seem to be doing anything.

"Where are we?" I asked craning my neck to look around me

"Not where but when."
