Agent 1! What happened to you?
Agent 1 walks in, his cloak is ripped and bloody gashes cover his face and hands. He is not carrying his weapon.
The monster. It attacked. Sir, I got a good look at him. It is black as night. Just a dark mass of nothingness with no features except a white, toothy grin. Nothing hurt it, nothing. Sir, I don't think we can stop it.
Suddenly, the door to their right crashes open and in stomps a short, very pudgy man and a tall, disgruntled Russian-looking doctor behind him.
I know what killed Robert!
So do we!
This declaration stops Layne in his tracks.
Yes, now shut your mouth and let the grown-ups talk.
Layne opens his mouth, then shuts it again and takes heed to what was said.
Then, the stage darkens with a bang of thunder and flash of lighting.
We find our characters, in between flashes, looking around frantically. Searching for the cause of this sudden outburst of weather. Screams are thrown around, shouts are heard but no one knows what is happening. The monster does however. The monster knows everything. The monster hears everything. The monster...is everything.
THE STAGE INSTANTLY TURNS BLACK AFTER THIS LAST DECLARATION. NOTHING CAN BE SEEN BUT A WHITE, FANGED GRIN AND A NOISE OF GRINDING METAL, SOUNDING LIKE HARSH LAUGHTER.
