I laid in my bed, feeling like the worst person in the world. I can't believe my sister just said she hated me. Maybe we should start our tour early so we don't have to be here. Never in my life have I ever wanted to leave home. I got up out of my bed, feeling like crap, and went downstairs. I slid on a pair of shoes that were at the bottom of the steps and headed outside. I started walking. I need to clear my thoughts. It was dark outside, so I checked to see that it was already 8:30. It felt like only a few minutes ago that my sister said she hated me. That was a couple hours ago. Necolle's been locked up in her room ever since. Unless she snuck out, which I think would happen.
I walked for about half an hour, not knowing where I was. It was pouring down rain, but I didn't want to go back home. I saw a girl sitting on a bench a few meters away from me. She had her head in her hands and she was crying. She looked like... Necolle? I walked closer and saw that it was Necolle. I sat next to her, causing her to look at me. Her eyes widened when she realized it was me.
"What are you doing here?" she asked.
"I was walking and found you here,"
"Well get away from me. I don't want to talk to you,"
"We need to talk,"
"We have nothing to talk about," she said. "You can stay here. I'm not going home. I'll be at Ariana's, but I doubt you care,"
"I do care, actually,"
"Whatever, Ashton," she said rolling her eyes. She stood up, picked up her bag and started walking away from me.
"I love you, Necolle," I said as she walked off. She stopped in her tracks and turned around looking at me. She walked back towards me as I stood up.
"Don't do that!" she yelled.
"That! Telling me that you love me! That used to work on me Ashton, but it's not gonna work on me anymore!"
"What do you mean work?"
"You know what I mean! Growing up, when we got into arguments, you would say 'I love you' and I would forgive you right away. That's not how it's gonna be this time. So don't you dare do that," she said to me. I looked her in the eyes and then wrapped my arms around her. She was shocked and couldn't move. "Ashton, get off. This isn't working either," she said. I pulled my arms off her and placed them on her arms.
"Necolle, I'm sorry. I don't want anything to happen to you. I know you say that you don't need me, but you do. I don't care if you're seventy, living in a nursing home. I'm always gonna be there for you. I know it doesn't look like it, but I need you too. You can't be mad at me for this stupid argument,"
"First, stop touching me," she shoved my arms off her. "Second, it wasn't a stupid argument. It's about the guy I like. They guy that you won't let me date. The guy that is also your best friend,"
"I know how Luke is, Necolle!"
"Who cares? I don't. I gotta go, bye," she said. She walked off and I watched her until I couldn't see her. That's when I started walking back home, with tears in my eyes.
I'm losing her.
I can't lose her.
I need her.
