I felt tears stream down my face. How did it turn out like this? It's not my fault I fell in love with Harry Styles. I accidentally fell in love with him.
It was Harry's fault for acting all sweet to me. No, I shouldn't blame anyone. It's just how life works.
"Acacia?" I heard a deep, shaky voice call out to me. I looked up to see Harry staring at me.
I sniffed and he crouched down to me, wiping away my tears.
"What happened?" He asked as he wiped a few of my tears away.
I just looked away from him and I felt him hug me. He wrapped me in his arms and I just kept on crying. My head was placed on his chest.
"It's Elizabeth again, right?" He asked me and I slowly nodded.
He kissed my forehead and stroked my hair, just the way I wanted. He calmed me down, I tried my best to stop my tears, though I couldn't.
"Just let it all out Acacia." He told me and just kept stroking my hair. "Don't worry, nobody could see us."
He was right. I was afraid that people will see us and tease me about being a slut for crying in the arms of my bully.
"Harry..." I said. "Yeah?" He replied.
"I'm sorry." I apologized. "I didn't want you to go here just to comfort me."
"What are you talking about?" He said, chuckling. "I'm the one who should be sorry.I'm the main reason why Elizabeth kept hurting you, right?"
I nodded. "I'm really sorry." He apologized, planting a soft kiss on my forehead.
"Elizabeth heard our conversation." I told him, sniffling. "I knew that." He told me. "I saw her running away when I turned to go to my next class." He explained.
"Alright." I said, unsure of what else to say. "Stop crying now. There's nothing to cry about anymore. I'm here." He assured me and I stopped myself from crying.
"Good girl." He muttered and removed me from his arms. He stood up and helped me up.
"Now," He spoke. "where do you wanna go?"
"What do you mean?" I asked, raising my eyebrow.
"You know, do you wanna go get ice cream or something?" He asked.
"Ice Cream would be good." I told him and he smiled. "Guess I could show you where I usually hang around in."
"That would be delightful." I said and he grabbed my bike.
We walked to this little Ice Cream parlor. I got a chocolate Ice Cream cone while Harry got vanilla.
He could be so sweet and kind most of the time.
We were on our way to the park. Yes. That's where I usually go to. It's quiet, placid, and peaceful there.
"How much longer?" Acacia asked me in a wearied tone.
"When the stars come out, that's for sure." I retorted and she just rolled her eyes.
"Thanks for the Ice Cream by the way." She said. "No problem." I told her.
She just kept eating her ice cream, in an adorable manner if I might add. She acted like a little girl while eating it.
I've gotta admit it. Walking down the street with Acacia is way better than walking down the street with Elizabeth. I think it's because Elizabeth demands me to buy too much stuff each day, which makes my wallet empty by the end of the day.
"Harry?" Acacia called out.
"Yeah?" I asked, flashing her a smile.
"Isn't the sunset beautiful?" She questioned and I noticed her stop. She was looking at the sun, which was setting. "Yeah." I answered, staring at it. It was beautiful, simply mesmerizing. We stopped at the place where the lake was in. I saw the park was already just a few steps away.
"We're here." I announced and she quickly took the glimpse of park and looked at me right after.
"What's this?" She asked with a boring expression.
"A park, what would you expect?" I stated and she just laughed. "Just kidding!" She told me and I smiled.
I spotted a swing where the both of us could sit on together. "Let's sit here." I told her and sat on the swing. She sat beside me and kept on looking at the lake. The lake is just still, but I wouldn't say it was bleak nor bland.
It was just still. Placid, calming. Acacia's voice drifted me off from my thoughts.
"This is where you mostly hang out in?" She asked and I nodded. "Yeah." I told her
"I thought it would be an arcade, but okay." She admitted and I just chuckled.
"Damn, you're funny." I confessed to her, a grin plastered on my face.
"I knew that." She responded quickly and we just laughed.
"You make me think that you're a little kid." She told me, my smile still remaining.
"This place does make me think I'm a little kid." I admitted to her. "I mostly hang out here with my mom."
"How about your dad?" She asked. "I wasn't close with him that time." I told her.
She looked at me. "That's too bad." She said.
"My mom is actually gone, you know? She's dead. I just live with my dad and my two siblings." I admitted to her quite bleakly.
"Your mom passed away? I'm so sorry to hear that." She apologized quickly, her eyes widening. I just gave her a reassuring smile. "I don't mind at all."
She nodded and looked up to the sky. Tonight was a starry, night sky. I saw the full moon reflecting in her eyes. Yes, her eyes are beautiful, I know it.
"Do you like the stars?" Acacia suddenly asked me. "They're nice." I told her, looking at how she was staring at the sky.
"I liked the stars." She stated. "I like how they sparkle every night."
"I see." I told her, unsure.
I tried my best to not let this conversation awkward and tried firing her questions.
"Hey, Acacia. Why don't you tell me about your family?" I asked her and she just giggled.
"You already know what it's like already, right?" She told me.
I chuckled. "Yeah, forgot." I said. "How about this... Would you tell me about what happened a while ago?"
"Well," she began. "Elizabeth told me to stay away from you and she and her friends started to beat me up."
Honestly speaking, I knew that this was the reason why she was crying. Seeing her cry... It just hurts. It's painful to see her cry. I couldn't stand it, I don't think I even wanted to see her cry.
She doesn't deserve any of this. "I swear to you." I started stroking her beautiful hair. "I'll try to talk to her."
I saw her mouth stretch into a wide grin and I smiled at her. "Thank you!" She said and she hugged me, really tight.
Her hugs, the best feeling in the world. She unwrapped me from her arms after a while and we just stared into each other's eyes, just like that. My green orbs staring into her gorgeous brown ones.
"Hey, Harry." She said. "Y-Yeah?" I asked, scratching the back of my neck.
"About you making me fall for you..." Acacia's voice trailed off. "What about it?" I asked.
"You don't need to do it, since Elizabeth is on the way." She told me but a smile tugged on the corner of my lips.
"I don't care." I frankly told her. "But, if you insist." Well, I felt like I wanna break. I wanted her to fall for me, I know I want to. I really do.
Though, she wouldn't let me. It's her choice anyway, not mine.
I continued staring at her eyes and she just stared into mine and my eyes suddenly trailed it's way to her lips. I didn't know what I was doing after that. Then after a while, I found myself leaning over to her.
Yes, I badly wanted to kiss her. Then, I realized she was leaning over to me after that. The both of us closed her eyes and we were just inches away from each other.
You wanna know what the lame part about it was? My cellphone suddenly rang and it broke the moment. We both jumped a bit and I saw Acacia giggled while blushing.
Just looking at her makes me wanna kiss her. I realized, I was seriously falling for her.
I wanted to hold her in my arms and kiss her forever.
