"What are you doing here?" Harry asked annoyed and glared at Austin while gritting his teeth.
"Apparently, my mother is the new nurse in this school." Austin retorted. "So I'm pretty much helping her out right now. So, I'm grabbing the required treatment for the patient in the other room which was an ice bag."
"Fine." Harry said and I saw Austin wink at me. I think Harry noticed it too since I flashed Austin a smile and he told Austin in an annoyed tone "You can leave now."
Austin just snorted. "I believe I've already introduced myself, I suppose it's your turn to introduce yourselves next." Austin told us but was just looking at me and didn't dare look at Harry.
"I'm Acacia." I told him with a smile. I looked at Harry who didn't reply nor looked at Austin. I nudged his shoulder and he reluctantly looked at Austin.
"The name's Harry. Harry Styles." Harry answered back. "The king of the school." I added.
"Oh, I see." Austin's eyes lit up as he looked at Harry. "You beat her up, did you not?" Austin asked Harry.
"I didn't." Harry abruptly said. "Well, I used to." He added and shrugged.
"Then that's good." Austin said and he smiled at me once more and moved closer to me. "Hey." He whispered, his voice really low and soft as if I'm the most little vulnerable thing to him that could break easily with just one screech.
Austin started stroking my hair as if he wants me to feel better after getting beaten up by a lousy girl.
Harry slapped Austin's hands off my hair and he glared at Austin. "Lay your hands off Acacia." he hissed.
Austin just left a smug smile on his face. "It seems the two of you are dating."
"No!" I yelled in protest and Harry just smiled. "You want us to?" Harry asked.
"Of course not, you don't deserve to have a lovely girl like her." Austin explained and walked away from the bed.
"See you tomorrow Acacia." He said before leaving the room and I just waved him a goodbye.
Harry was looking down, down at my face. I see glint in his eyes and I stroked his hair.
"About me bullying you, I'm seriously sorry about it." Harry told me and I just smiled at him.
"Remember? I forgive you." Harry weakly smiled and he just kissed my nose and my cheek. It seems that he wasn't in the mood to kiss me or something.
"Harry, when are we leaving to the park?" I asked Harry, trying to lighten up his mood.
"When you feel better." Harry replied and I smiled. Harry was really caring.
He just kept stroking my hair. He had this look on his face, I just couldn't tell what it was.
She just examined my face with those wonderful eyes of hers. I stroked her hair, her hair was soft and smooth.
She had a perplex look on her face and I could tell why. She could see something in my eyes, something she couldn't fathom or figure out. Something I couldn't tell her.
It was jealousy. I was jealous. I was jealous of Austin.
Yes, that douche was just hitting on Acacia not moments ago. I could tell Acacia liked Austin.
"Hey, are you read to go to the park now?" I asked and she quickly stood up, nodding her head.
"Sure." She told me and I smiled.
I walked out of the infirmary with my hand clutching Acacia's and I saw Austin smirking at me.
"Acacia, could you wait outside?" I whispered into her ear but gave me a confused look before nodding and left.
Austin and I were alone in the room. He was sitting down on his desk with his desk, his arms intertwined together to support his chin on the table while I just stood there staring at him.
"Where's your mom?" I asked, inquisitively.
"She went out, I'm in charge. But I suppose it's none of your business, isn't it?" He explained, a smile forming in his lips and I rolled my eyes.
"Okay, now it's on." I said, slamming my hands on the table, leaning against it yet he just continued smiling.
"What are you talking about hairy Harry?" Austin scoffed and I clenched my fists.
"What are you planning to do with Acacia?" I asked Austin.
"I obviously was hitting on her, what's wrong with that?" Austin answered, still playing along.
I just glared at him, my nails now digging into my palms. "Okay, yeah. I like her, what's the problem?"
"What made you like her?" I asked him sternly, leaning closer to him.
"She looks nice and she's cute and all. But I don't entirely like her." Austin explained shrugging. My fists were still clenched into a ball but I prevented myself from punching him straight in the face.
"If you plan on hurting her, I'm not letting you." I warned him, pointing my finger at him. "I don't wanna anyone hitting on my girl either."
"You really love her, don't you?" Austin inquired, raising his eyebrow and I just looked away, my gaze glued to the floor. "
"That's what I'm afraid of." I admitted.
I heard Austin snicker. "Goodbye then." Austin waved me a goodbye and pushed me towards the door once he got up.
I walked out of the door and when I did, I instantly saw Acacia looking at me.
"Let's go?" She asked and I nodded. We ran out of the entrance door together.
There weren't any students in school anymore, which was good since I wouldn't be humiliated again.
The walk to the park was unlike before, her bike was just on her other side as she wheeled it with us, while I held her other hand. Not in a sweet way, I just clutched it into mine, I just held it because I was conscious that she would faint again.
Though, I did love holding her hand.
Once we arrived to the park, I just placed her bike right beside the swing and we both sat down in our usual spots. The sun was already setting, my face plastered with the color of orange from the light shining from it.
"Harry, you're not acting like your usual self." I heard Acacia speak from beside me, her hand squeezing mine.
"I just have a problem." I admitted and stood up, releasing her tight squeeze.
"What is it?" She asked, standing up afterward.
I could see the pity in her face from the corner of my eyes, she was really worried.
"I just can't accept it." I said as she came closer to me, my eyes averting her gaze.
"What can you not accept?" She asked me, now a good foot away from me.
I jerked my head upward, looking straight into her eyes. "Do you like Austin?" I inquired, giving her a stern expression.
She just stared at me unfazed. "What are you talking about?" She asked, but she was trembling a bit.
"Would... Would you do me a favor Acacia?" I sputtered, not knowing what I was saying as my voice faltered.
But before that, I hugged her tight, in hopes that she'd do it.
"Can you please try to not fall in love with Austin?" I asked, kissing her forehead while I held her tight.
I wished she didn't like Austin.
Hearing her like someone else would be the worst pain in the world. It hurts me... so much.
