The 67th Hunger Games-COMPLETE-

Cyanna Harlech, a fellow Career from District 4, has been chosen to participate in The Hunger Games. Leaving her Mother and sister, Pearl she is uncertain she will win. Winning means game and fortune. Losing means certain death...

15. 15

I look up at the sky, as the anthem plays. Carter, and both from 5. I feel alot better now that he's gone. Sorry Carter's family, I think, but that's how the game goes!

I close my eyes and fall into a long dreamless sleep, but I'll wake up in an hour or so.

I wake up to myself mumbling Pearl's name. I think I'm home safe in my bed, but when I look around I'm in a tree... In the Hunger Games. I feel around for my pack and pick it up, carefully taking out my waterbottle. I take a few sips and put it back in. Taking a deep breath, I slide down the tree and into a heap on the ground. I remember what Varnia had said, so I need to be as quiet as possible from now on. I decide to find a new part of land to hide in, so that no one will be there. It will just be me and I won't get killed. Until the last two tributes, I'll have to fight for sure. Of course though I won't stay there. I will fight, kill and make allies. If anyone wants to be with me though.

I find a huge grass plain, with lots of trees. I think this is where I should stay. I walk across the plain, and feel across every tree and see if I can hear a lake around. Because I know there's got to be one around. If there isn't, and I finish off my water I'll be dead. I decide to rest for a little while, since I've been walking for three hours. I carelessly take the small bag of dried beef out of my pack, and take a strip out. I eat it slowly. It feels good to be having high fibre food, and not just tree bark, or sap.

Then, I rearrange everything in my pack, and stretch for a minute or so. I get up, just as Jax finds an entrance into my mind. Jax! Where is she? I hope she's ok. Maybe she's already got an ally. Maybe she doesn't want to be with me. I don't mind. As if we're gonna find each other here! I slip my pack back on my shoulders, and walk deeper into the plain. I climb up a tree and stand behind the top trunk, to see if I'm hardly visible.

Obviously not, because I nearly fall out of the tree, when an arrow hits the top trunk. My bow and arrows. Whoever is down there, watch out. Because you've found me. And I can kill you.
