I sat up quickly, looking around wildly to see what had woken me.
"It's alright love. It's only me."
I knew who that was even without looking at him.
"Harry?!" I whispered. "What are you doing?!" I looked at Liam's watch. "It's six-thirty!"
He smiled cheekily. "So???"
I rolled my eyes. "What is it?"
"Come to the kitchen." He said, leaving the room.
I followed him, dragging my feet.
"What Harry??" I asked again.
He turned around. At first I thought he was going to say something, until he lent forward and kissed me.
Part of me wanted to push him off, but as crazy as it sounds, the kiss felt kind of right.
As he let go, I turned around and practically ran back to Liam's room.
"Ruby, wait!!" I heard Harry call after me.
I looked at him. "Why?!" I asked. I was shaking slightly.
"Because..." Harry hesitated. He looked really nervous. "After seeing you with Liam yesterday, I realised my true feelings for you. I really, really like you Ruby."
I sighed. "I'm sorry Harry. But I love Liam."
"I knew you'd say that." Harry tried to smile.
"Let's just not talk about this, okay?" I said pleadingly.
He nodded and walked into his room.
I felt pretty bad, but in a way, good. TWO super hot and popular guys had fallen for me...
I quietly crept into Liam's room, trying not to wake him. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful.
"Hey sweetie, what's up?" He sat up and rubbed his eyes.
"Oh, nothing, I just went to the bathroom." I lied.
Liam smiled and patted the bed, indicating that he wanted me to come and sit. I felt horrible. I had just kissed his best friend.
I felt tears coming to my eyes, and I ran to the bathroom. I locked the door behind me and looked at myself in the mirror. My looks matched exactly how I was feeling. I looked tired, with giant bags under my eyes, my lip gloss was smudged and my eyeshadow looked horrible. I sat down on the toilet and buried my face in my hands. Tears started falling thick and fast as I heard Liam knocking on the door.
"Babe? Are you okay? Ruby? What happened?!" He sounded really worried.
I lifted my head. "I'm fine." I croaked.
Liam sighed and I heard him walk back into his room.
