As I sat in math with Niall, working on my algebraic expressions, thoughts were racing through my head. Sienna had texted me five minutes ago, saying she was skipping class to hang out with Harry. I thought they were cute together, but she was skipping class for him?! Maybe it was wrong to have set them up.
Niall looked over at me. "You okay Rubes?"
"What? Oh yeah, I'm fine." I smiled at him.
"Okay everyone! Homework; finish page 127." Mr Tiver wrote on the board.
I quickly copied it into my diary and packed my bag. The bell rang and I stood up. "Let's go Niall."
"Yeah." Niall stood up and we walked out of the class and into the crowded hallway.
"Hey CiCi!" I exclaimed, meeting her at my locker. I opened it and packed my bag. "Ready to go?"
"Yeah, c'mon." We left the school, and Sienna drove me home.
"Thanks for the lift!" I smiled and opened the door.
"See you tomorrow!" Sienna waved and drove off.
I unlocked the door and walked inside. I went up to my room to start on my homework, and found Harry sitting on my bed.
"OMG Harry?! What the hell!?" I shrieked.
"Chill, it's okay. I just need to talk to you." He said.
"Okayyy......" I sat down.
"I just wanted to say thanks. Sienna's great. I really like her." He smiled.
"Oh, yeah. I'm glad you guys hit it off. She really likes you too." I laughed.
"Thanks love. See ya." He kissed me in the cheek and left.
"I hate math." I groaned. I threw down my pencil and picked up my phone to check facebook.
As I was scrolling through my messages, my phone rang. "Hey Liam." I picked up.
"Hey." His deep voice said. "You doing anything?"
"Nah, just homework." I replied.
"You wanna go to town?" He asked slyly.
I laughed. "See you in ten. Bye."
I hung up and walked to my wardrobe. I chose a plain, tight, black T-shirt, tucked into a neon-yellow, high waisted, mini skirt with black wedges.
I rang Sienna to see if she approved. I tapped my black-painted fingernails on my desk, waiting for her to pick up.
"Um, hey Ruby..." I heard Sienna's voice. She spoke quickly and nervously.
"Sienna? What's up??" I asked curiously. "You okay?"
"I'm fine. What is it?" She asked impatiently.
"Sheesh. I just wanted to talk. What are you doing?"
"Babe, who is it?" I heard a guy's voice.
"HARRY?!" I exclaimed.
"I'll explain tomorrow; I promise." Sienna hung up.
I sighed and walked downstairs. I poured myself a glass of water and waited for Liam. Five minutes later, he was at my door, looking hot in jeans and a white T-shirt.
"Hey babe." I smiled as he hugged me.
"You look amazing." He surveyed me.
I blushed and giggled. "You don't look too bad yourself."
"Wow, this place is amazing!" I gazed around. "And so expensive." I glanced at the menu.
"Don't worry about it. Order whatever you want. It's our first proper date, you know." Liam winked at me.
I laughed and surveyed the menu. "Um... Can I have the chicken salad?" I asked the waitress.
"Of course." She wrote it down. "And for the gentleman?" She turned to Liam.
"Uh, the porterhouse steak, thanks." He smiled and handed her the menu.
"Someone's hungry." I commented.
"And why aren't you?" He stared at me. "You never eat!"
"And yet I'm fat." I mumble.
"You are not!" Liam punches my arm playfully.
"Yeah right." I look down at my phone.
Liam moves his chair closer. "Babe, listen to me. You are perfect. And nothing anyone says can change that."
I smile. "I love you Li."
He looks slightly shocked, but says "I love you." right back to me.
