Owen's friends are all my friends, so I was worried about being in school. As I walked down the hallway to our lockers, all of us got lockers next to each other. Well, as I found out, my fears were pointless as they all sided with me and I mean ALL, like, everyone in the school.
See, I was never one of the mean stereo typical cheerleading popular girls, I never gossiped, bitched or knocked down anyone. That's why most people like me. I'm not being modest, I know, but I just want to prove that I'm nice to everyone. Even the teachers like me.
I didn't see Owen in school at all today, so I guess he took what I said literally or something. I spend the day joking around with my friends and showing the new guy, Joey, around the school. Joey seems sweet, he was really shy and it was totes adorbs!
I avoided everyone all day, everyone loves Destiny, I know that they all hate me for what I did to her. Honestly though, I don't have to care. Anything we had is gone now, it's nothing.
After a few weeks, both of us have calmed down. Destiny is back to being my friend but it looks like Joey has taken up my place as her best friend. Tonight me and my friends are going out, Destiny is coming because they invited her first, I was shocked to find out she was the one who told them to invite me. It's actually wasn't that awkward. Our friends are the same people and yet she managed to stay composed the whole night and she just acted as if we were just fine. It got me mad, so I decided to mess with her.
"Hey, Jack, what do you think of Tammy? I know she's into older guys but I have a shot right? I mean I really like her and I'm pretty mature." Well, she reacted... just not the way I wanted her to, "Awwww, that's so cute Owen. Tam is one of my closest friends, she's great. Want me to help try to get you together."
Yeah, THAT was how she replied to what I said. Damn, it hurt, "Um, sure. Thanks Dess." "Hey, it's no biggie." Then Destiny did the craziest thing, she took my phone and called Tammy. SHIT!
