Andy, I need Andy! I need her advice on this fucked up situation. I ran passed the set where Theo was shooting; I glanced back to see how it was going to have our eyes collide and never tear from each other until *BAM*
"Oh my gosh I am so sorry!" I looked up to a blue button down stained with black coffee followed by face of Ansel Elgort! (You may know him as Augustus Waters)
"It's okay, don't worry about." He's smiled looking at his freshly stained shirt. "I wasn't a fan of this shirt anyways" he continued, looking up at me without a single fade in his smile
"I think we have some extra clothes in the back, would you like a clean shirt?" I asked with a flirtatious smile.
"That would be very nice of you." He chuckled.
As I sat there in the pose they directed I saw the whole scene unfold making me feel a foreign emotion. I don't know what it is but I don't like the way he is looking at her.
"Hey guys can we take a short break?" I asked in a flat tone.
"We have enough time for a five minute brake."
"Alright, I'll be right back." I said as I walked toward the redhead that has caught my eye sense day one.
"Hey babe! Where do you want to go to dinner tonight?" I smiled as I put my arm around her shoulder to bring her closer and planted a soft peck on her temple.
"Uh, I thought you were picking." She said with wide eyes, and continued her actions ridged and with caution.
“Okay, then wear something nice.” I requested with my mouth curved upwards.
“Theo! We need you back on the set.” The photographer yelled.
“Be right there! I’ll see you at eight, love.” I removed my arm and left.
What. The. Hell? What just happened?! What was that for?! He hates me!
“Oh, I didn’t know Theo had a girlfriend.” Ansel asked with a small smile.
“He doesn’t, he just asked me out today.” I said with a confused look still etched in my brow.
“Oh, good, so I’m not too late.” He whispered the last part.
“Oh, nothing.” He said with a sly smile.
“Okay, well let’s go get you a new shirt.” I smiled.
We went to the other side of the floor where we kept the clothing in a large storage room.
“Okay, preference of style, and color?” I looked at him firing the questions.
“ummm, I like blue.” He chuckled.
“Okay, how big are you?”
“Oh about nine inches.” He winked with his smirk pulled to the right.
“I meant, what size shirt are you?” I huffed acting like I wasn’t fazed by his statement even though I can feel the heat creeping up onto my cheeks.
“Well why didn’t you just ask that silly? A medium is fine.”
I walked over to the section labeled as ‘Shirts’ and went to subsection ‘Dress Shirts’ and got a pale blue one, very similar to the ruined one he was wearing.
“Here you are sir.” I passed him the shirt.
“Why thank you m’am” He chuckled.
“I can lead you to a changing room-“ I was cut off by the sight of Ansel completely shirtless, and I am okay with that. “Or you know, you can just do that.” I added with my eyes never leaving his perfectly toned abdomen.
“Oh, yeah sorry.” He smiled.
“It’s perfectly fine.” It really was. “Hey I’m sorry but I need to get going to my next client. Hopefully I’ll see you around.” I start to slowly back out of the room.
“Oh trust me, you’ll see me again.” He stated.
“Well alrighty then.” I said just before I left the room.
-Two Hours Later-
Okay today has just been weird and I’m not entirely sure it’s in a good way or a bad way. Okay I need to go find Andie, she will tell me what I should do. I pulled out my phone and maneuvered my thumb to Andie’s contact and pressed the call button.
“Hey Elise, is there a problem?” She asked after the third ring.
“Yes, yeah there’s a big problem.” I stated.
“Come to my office and we will discuss it.”
I sped off to Andie’s office not stopping to say hi to anyone, even if one were to wave.
“Andie!” I barged into her office.
“What seems to be the problem Elise?” She smiled widely.
“Okay so let’s say, hypothetically, I was styling a guy and he hypothetically asked me out... what advice would you give to this hypothetical situation?” I said playing with my fingers looking at my feet that were sweeping the ground.
“Well, as your boss, I would hypothetically say that even though there’s no rule against dating a client it is however, highly inappropriate and frowned upon. But as your friend, hypothetically, I would ask who, when, where, and how?” She looked at me with a pleased look on her face.
“Theo, we’re going out tonight, I don’t know where but I guess some placed fancy, and he forced me to say yes.” I said followed by the story of what had happened. When I was finished her eyebrows have crawled upwards and her eyes went wide.
“Well, that is quite the story. Okay as your boss and friend I am making you go on this date and I’m personally going to style you!” She cheered as I huffed.
“I really don’t want to.”
“Yeah well, you are. And you never know, maybe it will go really well.”
“Doubt it.” I crossed my arms.
“Come on, let’s get you ready it’s almost seven and you need to leave at eight, we got a lot of work to do on you.”
“Hey! I have taken offence to that!” I say as she grabs my arm and pulls me behind her out of her office and back to the styling section.
“Oh get over it.” She chuckled. We arrived at my station and she sat me down in the chair.
“Okay, first, hair.” She said as she took my long red hair out of my messy bun and let it fall past my shoulders. She looked at it closely and separated it into sections and applied a curling iron to make loose curls to frame my face.
About thirty minutes later my hair was completed, half of it was pinned back to leave the rest cascade to the top of my ribs.
“Okay, now makeup!” She practically squealed. “Are you getting excided yet?”
“Not in the slightest.” I breathed deeply.
“Well, act like it, I can really see this happening!”
“Don’t count on it.” I said as she applied gold eye shadow and the finishing touches on my makeup.
“Okay get up, we need to get you dressed!”
“Ugh!” was all I had to say and I followed her to the clothing room.
“Okay, let’s see what we got here.” Andie said to herself while looking through the dresses on the hangers until she gasped and pulled out a black dress the looks like it would come above the knee, closer to mid-thigh that fans out and becomes tight at the waist with lace accents around the top with a plunging neckline.
“Oh hell no!”
“Oh hell yeah!” she says with a grin as she throws the dress at me.
“I hate you, just letting you know.” I said as I walked behind the chaging screen.
“Oh I love you too!”
“Okay, um, this is a lot of boobage.” I called from behind the screen.
“Let me see.” I walked out slowly with my arms over my chest feeling rather uncomfortable “Move your arms.” She ordered and I did as I was told. “You look stunning!”
“I agree!” Theo’s voice broke through the air. My eyes widened at the sight of him in a well-tailored suite looking quite handsome.
“Um, I need shoes...” I say looking down at my bare feet.
“I have the perfect pair in mind.” Andie said grabbing a pair of nude colored heels. I took them and slipped them on my feet, instantly growing about four inches.
“You ready to go babe?” He said with a smirk.
“I’m not your babe.” I said barging past him.
“Not yet anyways.” He said into my ear once he caught up and I scoffed.
“Have fun you two!” and called out from behind me.
I’m sure I won’t.
