"You look beautiful," Kellin smiles.
I look down at the outfit I just changed into in the Changing room of Hot Topic. I'm wearing a cute black and white shredded skirt, a white off the shoulder shirt with a black skull in the middle, and a pair of black and white converse boots.
I look in the mirror and instantly fall in love with the outfit. I smile slightly and Kellin raise his eyebrows expectantly.
"Yes!" I grin.
He nods with a smirk and I go back in the changing room. I slip out of the outfit and throw on my old clothes. I walk back out and Kellin holds out the half full shopping bag while I drop the outfit inside. He grabs my hand and leads me to the register.
"Hey can I go look at some stuff in the music store?" I ask.
"Yeah, go ahead," he smiles.
So he turns around and starts conversating with the man at the register while I walk to the music store across from where I just bought a couple new outfits. I look for the Rock section but my eyes land on something more horrifying first. Natalie and one of the guys who beat the shit out of me at school just a few hours ago.
I duck my head and try to shuffle out of the store unnoticed but realize I've failed when I feel Natalie's sharp purple polished nails digging into my shoulder.
"Back for some more?" she smirks.
The boy shoves me into a rack of Country CDs and a ton of them fall all over me. I gasp and they laugh. But not for too long. I hear Natalie scream and look up to see Kellin slamming his fist into her face repeatedly.
A few seconds of this pass and then the mall cops come and lift Kellin away and I jump to my feet. I follow them out the mall doors and they set him down on the concrete sidewalk. He grunts and picks up the shopping bag off the ground beside him.
"You okay?" He asks.
I nod my head and he frowns worriedly. I nod my head once more to confirm that I'm just fine. He nods back and I follow him back to the car.
We climb in and buckle up, Kellin drives down all the roads leading to home. I plug my earphones in and blast Wretched And Divine, by Black Veil Brides in my ears while starring out the side window.
When we get home I stuff my phone and earplugs in my back pocket and we enter the house. He pulls me in his arms, I close my eyes.
"I'm going to bed, it's been a long day. Love you, goodnight," he sighs.
"Love you too, goodnight," I whisper back.
He releases me and is making his way to his bedroom when I suddenly stop him with a clear of my throat.
"Um...thanks for taking up for me," I say.
"Hey, it's my job," he smiles.
I giggle and he walks in his room while shutting the door behind him. I collapse on the couch and decide to wrap myself up in a long, dramatic episode of Deadly Women.
