5. Teagan P.O.V.
"Your English teacher called today..." My mom started and I sighed. "And she said you got another detention!" She raised her voice. "Why can't you be like Charlie and behave!"
"YOU THINK I DONT TRY!" I screamed at her, I had no patients when she compared me to Charlie. "Has it not even occurred to you that I am nat Charlie!" I started to calm down but my voice was still louder then before.
"You could be like Charlie if you tried harder!" She shot back.
"MOM!" I yelled, my eyes wild. "I DONT WANT TO BE LIKE CHARLIE! I WANT TO BE MY OWN PERSON!" I ran up to my room, my eyes filled with tears. We had this fight almost every night and it hurt me every time. Tears were now running down my face but I pulled out my Math homework and started at it anyway. I was having a horrible time wiping them away so in the end my math paper was a big snotty, wet mess.
I grabbed out my History homework now. I put my pencil to the paper, when the phone rang. I let my mom answer it. My dad was at work.
"Teagan! Its for you!" She yelled up the stairs like we hadn't fought twenty minutes ago. Charlie never called me and that was the only person who would call me so I just took the phone and ran to my room.
"What's wrong Charlie?" I said into the phone.
"This isn't Charlie..." The voice said back awkwardly.
"Oh... Hello?" I said quickly.
