3. Owen's P.O.V.
I walked into class and sat down in a empty seat. Mrs. Barrel let us sit by who we wanted but I wanted to sit by no one. I was shy. So shy, I was even shy around my best friends. I mean Austin and Matt were awesome but I was just SHY.
Anyway, I ended up sitting by this weird girl. I knew her name because she was best friends with the prettiest girl in school but I was to shy to say hi. I wasn't one of those boys who were obsessed with girls, I had actually never asked one out. Hence shy but still. Austin had tried to get me to go out with this girl Jadie Miller who I hated. I kicked him before he could get me anywhere.
It wasn't a mean kick, if that's what your thinking. Just a playful kick between boys. So you know I wasn't into girls and I definitely wasn't into Charlotte. She seemed to act like she was to cool for popular. I mean she was pretty but so! Yeah I am also one of those lame guys who cares what a girl is like on the inside.
Mrs. Barrel called on me, even though I had paid no attention I already knew the answer. I played it cool by ruffling my black hair and thinking for a moment before I slowly answered. "The main idea is dogs." She nodded.
"Mrs. Meyers, what is the main idea of the text?" Mrs. Barrel asked Teagan. Teagan shrugged, she had obviously been spaced out. I knew Teagan was smart so I don't know why she wasn't answering the question, plus I had just answered it.
"How many detentions does that make for spacing off in my class then, Mrs. Meyers?" Teagan looked at her with hate.
"That makes 5." Her voice was bitter. I looked over at her. She rolled her eyes and pretended to barf when the teacher turned around.
