Never getting tired of you

Nathan was a quiet lad with dark secrets. He never thought that anybody cared about him, he didn't have any friends until one day he met a girl who changed him and taught him how to love.

Zoe's POV:

"Zoe," I could hear someone tease my name lurking behind me. I ignored it. It's probably something to do with hanging about with Nathan. "Oh come on Zo!" They said again. I turned around to face them. It was Olivia, of course!

"What do you want?" I asked. Olivia wasn't alone, but she ditched her friends and put her arm around me.

"What's happened?" She asked, generally disappointed. I shrugged. "I don't want to be in an argument anymore so I'm going to take the first step by saying I'm sorry and I really want to be friends again,"

"Okay," I replied, trying to free myself from her arm.

"Wait, does that mean were mates again?" Liv wondered. I looked at her. She was not the same person.

"No," I said, walking off. She caught up with me. I rolled my eyes.

"Leave me alone liv! I could do without you," I told her.

"Whoa, I was being nice!"

"That doesn't mean that you are nice, I can't forgive you for what you did!" I shouted. I noticed a crowd forming around us. "I found you beating up just about the nicest guy I've ever met then you go and tell sir like a little girl and say to everybody that we were the bad guys in this whole situation! Just leave me alone,"

"That's right, you go running to your little trampy boyfriend for comfort! You know what I bet you don't even like him, your just doing it to get a friend because all your mates left you!"

I stopped walking. "What did you just say?" I asked, turning around. I don't know what I was doing. All this heat had built up inside me.

"What about that scumbag or you not having any mates?" She cackled. I went to her and punched her. Oh my god! What did I just do. I felt so un-lady-like. Next thing I know, Olivia was on the floor with a nose bleed. Everybody around us were booing me. I knew I was definitely guilty and will get punished but it felt good to hurt her again. She doesn't say stuff like that and get away with it.

"You two again?!" Sir exclaimed. I held my head low in shame. I didn't want to look at anybody.

"She punched me!" Olivia exclaimed, holding a tissue to her nose. "I have witnesses! I didn't even do anything-"

"Pftt," I said under my breath. Olivia sniggered at me.

"You don't hit people for no reason!" She continued.

"Zoe, what do you have to say about all of this?" He then asked me. I didn't know what to say, nothing I could say would excuse me for punching Olivia.

"Nothing," I replied.

"You mean that you have nothing that you can do to plead innocent?"

"I know that I'm not so why should I lie?"

"Very well, I will be informing your parents of the situation and if you give me your planner now and I'll put in all the detentions," he sighed. "I did not expect this from you, Zoe, especially to your best friend!"

"I have reasons," I replied.

"Care to share them?" He asked. "It could save you a whole lot arguments?" I looked at Olivia. I shook my head. I didn't want to make this worse than it already is.

"Zoe!" I heard mum yell. "Get in here right now!" I dragged myself into the kitchen.

"Yes," I said.

"What's with the attitude?" She rhetorically asked. I shrugged. "Don't shrug I want a proper answer!" Mum stood up. Dad was sat on a chair beside her, he looked disappointed which was worse than angry. "Why did you hit Olivia? I mean why all of a sudden have you been in this huge argument with her! I bet it's because of that boy isn't it, getting you into trouble again-"

"What your mother is trying to say," dad intercepted the conversation , thank god! "Is that we have been getting a lot complaint from Olivia's parents and that gives us and most importantly you a bad reputation!"

"I don't care," I replied.

"Excuse me?!" Mum shouted.

"Hun," dad said, giving mum a look. "Zoe, sweetheart, we just want the best for you! We don't want any more trouble, especially with school so your mother and I agreed that the best way forward is if you don't see Nathan again..."

"How would that help?" I asked.

"Ever since you have been with that boy you have gotten yourself into situations and disputes with who was once your best friend! He must have something to do with this!" Mum shouted.

"But Nathan wasn't involved in this! It's a fight going on between me and Olivia, not Nathan in the slightest!" I argued.

"But why all of a sudden? What is the argument about?" Dad questioned me. I didn't want to tell them that the bottom line of the argument was caused by Nathan because then there would be no chance of them letting me see him.

"None of your business," I replied.

"That's it! I've had it with this attitude! Up to your room young lady," mum shooed me away like I was a fly. Eurgh I hated my parents! When I went to my room I could hear them again, muttering behind my back about Nathan! And I thought they liked him... Well at least I thought dad did.
