Carter was pacing quickly in the kitchen.
"What's the matter Carter? You seem really excited." I laughed.
She stopped, with a big smile placed on her lips.
"I am!" She jumped.
I laughed at how cute she looked.
"Do I get to know the reason for this happiness?" I quirked with a smile.
She looked at me with glowing blue eyes.
"Grandmother is coming tonight!"
Silence filled the kitchen as my smile got wiped off instantly.
"Your grandma?" I whispered sadly.
"That's great." I whispered with a fake smile dancing on my lips.
I opened the door to the kitchen, and scanned the room for Carter.
I saw her getting a glass of water.
I glared at El who had pushed me out of the room.
"What the hell El?" I glared.
"Harry..." Shannon popped up.
"What?!?" I was confused. Why weren't they letting me see Carter?
"We should probably get the boys away from her... Especially Harry..." Shannon muttered.
"Why? What's going on?" Someone tell the confused man please.
"Just come." El glared.
They took me up the large staircase, and I spotted the boys who also looked confused.
"What are you two doing?" Louis frowned.
Eleanour hushed Louis, as she leaned her arms onto the railing.
Shannon copied, and motioned us to follow.
"What are we doing up here?" I asked.
"You'll find out soon enough." El whispers softly.
After a few minutes, Eleanour pointed to Carter, who was talking to the guests that had come.
"Watch Carter guys." She muttered.
We were confused but nodded.
The front door opened loudly, causing everyone's head to turn towards the door.
Carter turned around, with a big smile placed on her lips.
She quickly walked towards an old woman.
"Grandmother! I'm so glad you could come." She bowed lightly.
"Aw, that's so sweet. So that must be Carter's grandmother." I smiled.
"I Hate that woman." The guys and I turned towards Shannon with shock.
El stared blankly on, as if this was normal.
"Come in, have a seat." Carter offered.
"Don't patronise me." My head snapped down towards Carter and her grandmother.
Louis and I looked at each other in shock.
It felt as if everything was in slow motion as I watched the old lady take a couple of steps away from Carter, disgust written on her face.
