"Join them at there lunch table?" Shannon gave El a confused look.
"Yeah. Lou asked me, and none of the boys minded either." El replied, I sighed.
We were currently discussing something about lunch, in the stairwell.
I just sat on the windowsill, looking out at the field.
"Carter? Do you wanna go?" El grabbed Carter's arm.
"Sure." I replied not really knowing what was going on.
"You weren't listening! And besides, two of them have girlfriends so we won't be at the table with just guys." El smirked.
"Whatever." Shannon sighed, and El squealed.
I laughed jumping off the sill and standing by El.
"Whoops." I gasped as I was pushed down the stairs.
"Carter!" I groaned as I landed on my bum, pain quickly entering my body.
"Sorry." Rachel gave me a bitchy smile as she walked down the stairs, giggling to her air headed friends.
"C-Carter! Are you alright?!?" Shannon and El quickly ran down the stairs, to get me.
I shook my head, when I felt a pain pang through my ankle.
"Here." El wrapped my arm around her shoulder, and Shannon wrapped the other around hers.
I tried to blink away the painful tears, but they quickly flowed down my cheeks.
"Hey, don't cry! I'll beat that bitch and make her wish she never got those extensions." Shannon attempted to cheer me up, but I shook my head, the pain overflowing the humor.
The tears kept falling, as I let in a loud shaky breath.
"El!" I heard from behind us, as we turned around.
Louis, Niall, and Harry stood there, their smiles quickly fading when they saw the worried look on Shannon and El's face, and the teared up face I claimed was mine.
I winced, and tears fell faster, as the pain grew.
"C-Carter?" I watched as Harry quickly pushed his way towards me, his face panicked, and his eyes frantic.
"What happened?!? Are you alright? Carter?" He quickly turned towards Shannon.
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!?" I gasped when Harry's voice grew angrier, and angrier.
"FUCK SHANNON, TELL ME!!!" He roared, ignoring the fact people were looking at him frightened.
"C-Carter, El, and I were talking, a-and she was standing by the sta-stairs when Ra-Rachel came and pushed Carter down the stairs. S-She fell on her ankle." Shannon tried to let out, with fear written all over her face.
Everyone stood frozen, waiting for Harry to do something.
I watched Harry slowly grab my arm, and pulled me towards him.
I watched him pull me on his back, being careful with my right leg, as he pulled it slowly, around his waist.
He grabbed my arms, wrapping them around his neck, as he walked quietly towards the nurses office.
I stuffed my face in his shoulder, silently crying on his dark blue sweater.
"P-Please stop crying Carter." His voice was cracked, as if at one point he'd start crying aswell.
"I-It hurts." I whispered in his shoulder.
"I know. We're almost there." He walked a little faster.
Harry quickly knocked on the door, and waited.
A sweet old looking lady opened the door, and smiled at Harry.
Her smile dropped when she saw me crying.
"Quickly, come in." She rushed walking in.
Harry wasted no time walking in, and placing me on the bed-like couch.
I tried to wipe my tears away as she walked towards me, with a worried smile on her face.
"What seems to be the problem?" She asked me kindly.
Harry opened his mouth to speak, but I quickly cut him off, not wanting him to tell the truth.
"I fell down the stairs and landed on my ankle."
Harry glared at me, for not telling the truth.
"Oh dear. Well, take off that shoe, and I'll have a look." She gave me a sympathetic look.
I-I can't take it off. It hurts too much.
"I-I can't." I whispered.
She looked at me worried, and Harry slowly walked towards me.
"Carter... You need to take it off, or else she won't be able to fix the problem." He told me softly.
I took in a shaky breath, before lightly grabbing the shoe.
I gave it a small yank, but yelped, at the pain that shot through my leg.
"I-I can't do it Harry." I cried quietly.
I felt a hand grab mine softly, giving it a tight squeeze.
I covered my face, and shouted, when I felt Harry's other hand pull of the shoe.
"I'm sorry Carter."
"You bastard. I hate you." I sniffed, feeling the pain worsen ten times the original pain.
He looked hurt, and shocked at my words, as he stumbled back.
I watched as the nurse grabbed my ankle lightly feeling it, making me want to scream bloody murder.
"Well, looks like you just twisted it badly. I can fix it, but your gonna be in pain for the rest of the day."
Of course it would fucking hurt. Pain was a bitch.
I nodded slowly, feeling pain, as she twisted my ankle in place, feeling like screaming, I grabbed the pillow, shoving my face into it, and yelped.
But as soon as she did it, it was over.
"Alright sweety. It's all over. You can decide if you want to go home or stay."
Well, we have lunch, Art, then P.E, and I could for once sit out and watch everyone else suffer. Then the day would be over.
"I'll stay." I muttered, not wanting to catch up on missing homework either.
"Strong." She smiled at me.
I smiled back, glad she was kind.
Harry hadn't said a word after the little scene that happened a moment ago.
"Here. I think it would be better for you to help her get to her classes." The woman handed Harry a pass for the rest of the day.
Harry only nodded, not looking at her, and took the paper.
He quietly walked towards me, and picked me up the same way he had before, and left.
