"So how about we get started?" Mrs. Ray grinned.
"Ok. So how many pieces do you want?" She turned towards coach.
Coach glanced at me than back at mrs. Ray.
"Three." He answers.
"One of the team. One of me. And one of the captain."
My eyes widened at the coaches words. He's gonna make a portrait of me?
"Alright." Mrs.Ray grinned.
"Everyone except Carter and Shannon! Please come over." Mrs. Ray called.
Carter looked up confused, as to why she won't be part of the group.
I blushed. She just looked so damn cute when she's confused.
"Okay, you all are going to go start on the portrait of the team. I'll come by to see how your doing." Mrs. Ray snapped her fingers.
I followed the team, towards the field, as the art kids put us in different places.
I glanced over at Carter and Shannon.
Mrs. Ray took Shannon and coach and set them up for Coaches portrait.
Carter looked bored, as Mrs. Ray came back.
Mrs. Ray told Carter something, and Carter nodded.
Suddenly, Carter walked towards us, and I looked away.
I saw her ask Louis something, and Louis shook his head and pointed at me.
I gasped as Carter looked over at me and started walking towards me.
She looked at my shirt, and grabbed my wrist only to let go looking shocked.
Okay, so I'm not the only one who feels weird when she grabbed me.
She shook her head and grabbed my wrist again, ignoring the feeling.
"Uh...." I blushed.
She pulled me towards Mrs. Ray and instantly let go when we got to her.
I felt my wrist go sad at the lost of contact.
"Ah! The captain of the football team." Mrs. Ray smiled at me.
"H-Hi." Normally I wouldn't have been acting weird if it weren't for Carter looking at me.
"This is my top student, Carter. I know most people would want to look at the captains portrait, so I thought I'd let Carter do yours." Mrs. Ray smiled.
I gasped, feeling my palms get sweaty, and my nerves started kicking in.
Mrs. Ray noticed, and looked at me confused, until a look of realisation hit her, and she grinned at me.
Carter went to go get supplies, and Mrs. Ray wiggled her eyebrows at me.
"What?" I watched her carefully.
"Nothing...." She walked around me a couple of times.
"What is it?" I asked once more, frightened.
"Ugh. Fine! I just can't believe the captain of the football team is in love with the top student of the Art class!!!" She squealed.
My eyes widened, as my world started to shatter.
"W-What are you talking about?" I laughed nervously.
"Oh come on! It's clear as day on your face that you love her!" She grinned.
"Seriously?!?" I looked at her in horror.
"Oh, don't worry! Although it's obvious, Carter is a Huge numbskull."
"Don't call her a numbskull!" I spat, instantly covering my mouth for speaking up to a teacher.
"Ekkk! Your so cute! You even defended her!!!!" Mrs. Ray smiled, ignoring the fact that I raised my voice at her.
"So is it true?!? Do you really love her???" Mrs. Ray questioned.
"I-I..... I do. I love her so much. I just wish she'd notice me." I answered truthfully.
Mrs. Ray gave me a sympathetic smile.
"I somehow find myself staring at her from afar. She's always in my mind for some reason. When I try to sleep, I can't because she's always right there, and I end up thinking about her for hours.I love her so much it hurts. It hurts knowing she's not doing the same. It hurts knowing she can't even fucking remember my name. It kills me, and hurts me more than getting beat up. I-I can't even fucking stop. It's like she cast a spell on me to love her forever. I j-just need her to need me back. I- God damn it." I didn't even notice the tears streaming down my face until the saltiness entered my mouth.
Mrs. Ray had tears also streaming down her face, as she looked at me shocked.
I just got up, and ran towards the locker rooms, ignoring everyone who didn't notice the broken boy running away crying.
