Drip, drip, blood drops

Drip, drip, blood drops! I thought vampires belonged to the imagination. I thought the movies just wanted us to be afraid. I thought Dracula was a former idiot. I thought as much, until I met Louis Tomlinson. He wasn't the person he pretended to be and he wasn't human

14. The truth

I pondered on the whole situation. It seemed intolerable that we would become like mad every time we would drink blood. I realized I had to find out another option. Niall came to visit and immediately I knew that I would ask him how he did when he needed blood. I chose not to do it in front of Louis. Don't ask me why, but I wanted to ask without Louis knew about it.

"Are you saying what I do when I drink blood?" asked Niall and was like a question mark. I nodded and swallowed.
"When I get the urge I get like crazy and I throw myself on Louis." I blushed. "It's like I'm not getting enough and I bite him and he bites me ..."
Niall laughed a little bit.
"Yes, you can do it in that way too, but I drink instead of blood daily."
I was startled and just looked at him. Niall smiled at me and raised his eyebrows.
"Louis do that to. We drink daily and then one doesn't need to be like a madman."
I began to suspect that Louis had fooled me completely. I realized that maybe he enjoyed that I was who I was once a week. Therefore, I was disappointed.
"And if I drink a little blood every day?"
Niall laughed.
"Well, then, you become more calm in the body. I don't understand why Louis makes you wait, I mean, it's easier when you drink often rather rare."

When Niall had gone, I was determined to get the truth out of Louis. He looked at me with big eyes and I saw that he blushed.
"Yeah, I drink every day, but I thought you wanted ..."
I interrupted him.
"Louis, it hurts in my body to hold on as I do. I don't feel good about it and why can't I feel the same harmony as you and Niall?"
He hesitated.
"Because I love when you can't stop touching me."
I sighed.
"We can have sex anyway, but the normal way."
He swallowed.
"But ..."
I frowned.
"Louis, I'm serious. I want to drink every day."
He gulped and nodded a little bit. I saw that he was down in the corner, but I was sure of my case. Louis picked up a glass with blood for me and he gave it to me.
"Promise not to stop loving me."
I nodded and drank it all. I even licked the glass.
"I promise."
He smiled weakly.
"I still want that we have our moments."
I frowned and looked up at him.
"Why do you keep asking about that?"
He blushed slightly.
"My last girlfriend realized that the blood was more attractive than I was. She got tired at being with me and thought I was boring. She left me to see the world."
I took my arms around his waist and hugged him lightly.
"But I isn't she?"
He was still uncertain.
"I may not be the guy that loves to keep going and I love to stay calm. This is why I paint pictures and have that interest."
I kissed him lightly.
"And where's she now?"
Louis looked at me. I felt his hands around my body and he looked into my eyes.
"She was murdered. They figured out that it was she who killed people, and therefore they beheaded her."
I realized I didn't know much about Louis's life. He hadn't actually told him anything about his background and I didn't even know when he was born.
"Can't you tell me about yourself?" I asked why. "I want to know who you are."
He laughed a little bit.
"Darling, there's not much that's interesting. I was born in England and I had poor parents. I became a vampire when I was twenty-one years old and since then I have done everything to live."
I smiled.
"More... I want to know everything."
Louis laughed.
"Are you sure? I'm not as exciting as a person as you think."

That evening told Louis me all about him. He told me that he was born in the eighteenth century, and that he had been anything but a normal guy.
"I was an idiot and killed people on the assembly line." he said. I couldn't actually see him as a killer. "Then I learned not to continue in that way."
He also told me about how he got to the others in the gang to come along and the rest of all the vampires were killed.
"There were those who figured out that there were vampires and they, my friends, found themselves in the wrong place. I managed to escape and hide. I think they have stopped looking for us."
I saw at him that he didn't believe his words.
"Who are they?"
He swallowed.
"We called them shadows, but there's a family named Cowell. It's they who have fought against us. From the beginning inherited all the sons the profession from their fathers and they called them self Vampire Killers."
