Drip, drip, blood drops

Drip, drip, blood drops! I thought vampires belonged to the imagination. I thought the movies just wanted us to be afraid. I thought Dracula was a former idiot. I thought as much, until I met Louis Tomlinson. He wasn't the person he pretended to be and he wasn't human

12. The book

"What if I bite a human?"
Louis looked at me and he seemed to understand that he had to learn me everything.
"You're killing him or her,"
I swallowed and met his gaze.
"But I didn't die when you bit me?"
Louis blushed.
"No, because you bit me. Don't you remember that I asked you bite me?"
I nodded weakly.
"So to get another person to become a vampire, he or she must bite me?"
Louis nodded.
"And you have to almost empty person on the blood. It was therefore you got wine that night. I wanted you to have so much in you that it wasn't uncomfortable."
I understood that he meant well. I realized that he really cared about me. I saw at him that he felt something and I realized that he, in his own little way, did everything for me.
"So you love me?"
Louis laughed a little bit and came up to me. He took me in his arms and looked straight into my eyes.
"Yes, I love you."
I smiled and blushed slightly.
"So you could say that we are really a couple?"
He nodded.
"Didn't you understand that?"
I didn't know what to say.
"I figured it out, but I thought at the same time that I was just your creation. It was you who made me who I am."
Louis kissed me lightly.
"You are my everything. My girlfriend, my creation, my heart, my everything."
I wished I could say the same thing to him, I felt more for Louis than for ordinary friends. Yet I didn't know if I loved him.

"The walls are finished!"
Niall came in to us and he looked amused at me. I let Louis off and took me away from him.
Niall laughed and walked into the kitchen. He looked at me from the bottom up.
"You've changed?"
Louis just laughed.
"Yes, she's a vampire? She has had her first night when she drank blood and we destroyed the house."
I blushed and heard Niall laughed again.
"She's like a cat?"
Louis agreed.
"Yes, she was crazy, but at the same time, it was the first time and we've all gone the way?"
Naill stood beside me and he was amused by the subject.
"Emelie, I was crazy the first time I drank. I couldn't get enough of anything and I ..."
I interrupted him.
"Can't we change the subject?"
He laughed.
"Yes, sure, but it's pretty funny to hear how you were? I can see you in front of me."
I gave him a cold stare.
"Stop it!"
Niall changed the subject and looked at Louis.
"So now the house is finished."

All vanished away and Louis and I was alone. I saw their cars to drive away in the woods and I felt some anxiety. This was my new life and I would forever be a vampire.
"Can a person kill us?"
Louis was startled and stood beside me.
"How do you mean?"
I looked at him.
"In the movies and books you can kill vampires. Is that true?"
Louis swallowed.
"Yes, we can die. If you chop off our heads, we die."
"Wooden stake?"
Louis laughed a little bit.
"No, it's just fantasy. You can't kill us with a wooden stake, or some other such thing. Not even cross helps."
He took my hand and pulled me into the house. He took out a book and gave it to me.
"Read it if you want to know more."
I looked down at it and noted that it was an old book. It was thick and the sides were filled with text.
"Is it about us?"
Louis nodded.
"This is a book from the 1700s. A group of vampires chose to write down everything about us, because the new vampires would easily understand. Maybe it will help you?"

Okay! I learned new things by reading. I read about how my hearing would be, I read that we were able to travel quickly through the forest just by running. We were able to catch up with horses and we could kill a whole village, if we wanted. The first vampires were really killer, but the author was talking about that we would live harmony with the people. You could bite them and just take some blood, instead of killing. I wondered how I could get that control over myself. It said also that we couldn't tell everyone who we were. It had been bloodbath in the past and the people killed us more than to learn to accept us.
