14. The History of Insaan

The next day while eating breakfast Shuhrayr asked about Ryo and about his kind to know about their history.

“In the beginning there was nothing but the One who created everything and as far as I know we have been living up the high place for ages. We came from a mother and a father who were saved during the big world ocean anger. Then later on we separated into 4 towns as we grew in numbers. Each town chose a leader and thus we were separated by time and through different leaders. I don’t know much more I’m afraid,” Ryo explained.

“Our history starts similar to yours Ryo, except we all had a created father and mother who had two sons in the beginning. The one turned bad because of the whispers of the evil jinn. From that point on there has always been good and bad amongst us. Our fathers too were saved through the prophets ark during the greater rain. After that people separated and moved to different areas and today we have Insaan in Donlon and in Amol. And im sure there are others too somewhere else,” Shuhrayr took another sip of his Qahwa.

“Now those who moved to Amol were 4 brethrens, Choppan, Abid, Karkarud and Tanbar. Choppan was named choppan as he took care of animal husbandry, Abid was the most devoted and pious and the youngest, Karkurud was known for being away and sitting home alone most of the time and Tanbar was just fond of eating and sleeping. Through these we all come to be here. The Nigari came from the desserts as they abandoned their life style in order to seek wisdom and ethics which they lacked. They were known as people who ate snakes, lizards, spiders and even drank impure water. Over time their leader who was the first to meet Abid learned a lot and convinced many of his kind to move and settle in Amol. They were given permission to settle at what now is known as the Nigari tents,” Shuhrayr finished.
