Getting out of The Express, DeNial saw a young girl, around sixteen, on the platform. There was something about her, which instantly attracted his attention. She had a determinate look on her face, as if she needed answers from this place. The irony was that he was trying to evade answering the questions posed by this place.
She looked lost. His chivalry over came him, he decided to walk over to her and help her before he, along with his companions, made their way to the Cloud Temple.
Sarah and Rave packed enough food, and the necessary items required for their trip. Her heart was thundering with fear and courage. Nicholas would have been proud of her. Grabbing her book, she gestured Rave to start their way to the Cloud Temple.
Finding her way out of the Station proved harder than expected.
“Why am I not good with directions?” she scolded herself when a dark red haired man came to her.
“Can I help you?” he asked politely. There was a badge pinned to his front pocket. It read- Crisis Department. Was he a Crisis Official?
“I-I want to ge-get to the Cloud Temple,” she blurted out in fear of the Official.
His eyebrows shot up in surprise and shock, “Why do you want to go there?”
She did not speak a word. What would she say?
“Surprisingly, my companions and I are going there as well. Would you like to come with us?”
She did not know the place nor did she want to waste time. He was a stranger, though he seemed nice. She debated whether to go or not. Finally, she made up her mind.
“I’d like to,” came the reply.
