I know I'm bad

Everyone knew Ginger was messed up. That is why the police station decided to come up with a plan that will hopefully help Ginger. They sent her to church, and they scheduled a time for her to go to the police station once every week for her to understand what's right and wrong. When she ends up falling for the young, good-looking officer that is forbidden…What will she do? And will she soon realize her mistakes? Or stick to her own ways?

17. I Know I'm bad #17

"So, what's going on?" I asked.

Zach made me sit in the backseat and I rolled my eyes. "Am I the criminal now?" I asked. "No, don't answer that. Who are we going to arrest?" I grinned.

"Ginger, shut up!" George exclaimed. His voice was harsh.

"Don't talk to her like that!" Zach said.

George gave him a curious look, but, shrugged it off. "We're here!" George exclaimed.

"Yay! Who are we going to arrest today?" I asked. George gave me a glare. He walked outside to look around. "I have no idea what crawled up his pants." I muttered to Zach.

"Be careful. George is close to the sheriff. He could figure out about us and I could lose my job." He whispered, for only me to hear.

"I didn't make any hints that we were together." I whispered back.

"I know, but, the way he talked to you. I-. Just stay out of trouble, ok? George is in a bad mood today."

"I know." I groaned. "Ok, so who are we going to arrest today?" I asked.

George walked back to the car at that time and looked over to me to Zach. "I don't see the other officers anywhere. This is exactly where they told us to go." He groaned.

I looked outside my window and started humming, "Stop and Stare" by One Republic. Outside was just a lot of grass everywhere, like a field, but, further off I could see woods. I narrowed my eyes and nudged Zach on the shoulder. I leaned over towards him. "There's woods over there." I nodded towards it. "If there's no bad guy's over here, they would be in a place they think you can't find them."

"We're looking for the other officers, not the bad guy's," said George. He rolled his eyes.

"I think she has a point." Stated Zach. "Wherever the bad guy's are, the police will be with them."

"What I don't get, is why you didn't try contacting the officers." I said.

"Tried but, no such luck," said George. "How do you know we should look for the bad guy's in the woods?"

"I'm a rebel." I grinned. "I know what we rebels think about."
