The concert ended around 10 at night and adrenaline was pumping through my veins. Concerts pump me up so much, I don't know if it's from all the screaming fans, or if it's the way we sing so many songs and the fans sing them right back to us. It still takes me aback even though I've played so many shows that I can't even count.
We were pushed into the van quickly so that we can make it to the hotel before all the fans do, we might just have to go in through the back of the hotel. I hope Autumn made it back safely. I told her to leave early but she's too stubborn to listen to me. I'll just call her real quick.. I hit her contact and put the phone up to my ear. She answered on the 2nd ring.
"Hey babe." She answered.
"Hey. Are you at the hotel?" I asked her.
"Almost there. Traffic is terrible.." She whined. I can picture exactly what she looks like right now. She's sitting in the back of the taxi with her head up against the window and her phone up to her ear, her hair falling in front of her face so she has to keep pushing it back.. Wow, I'm crazy. I chuckled to myself.
"I feel like I haven't seen you all day." I sighed.
"Awww! Our wittle Neil is sooo in love!" Liam yelled in a babyish voice from the front seat, causing Louis to gag. I laughed and rolled my eyes.
"We just got to the hotel, I'll see you in a couple minutes. Okay?" I said.
"Alright." She replied, and with that we both hung up.
We had to go through the back of the hotel just like I suspected. It gets annoying. Don't get me wrong, I love my fans with all my heart, but sometimes I wish I could be a normal lad. Then I think about it again and trust me I wouldn't change a thing about my life the way it is now.
I walked to the elevator but there was a long line of people waiting. Of course. What's 4 flights of stairs? Can't be too bad. I made my way up to the room about 10 minutes later. No, it's not cause it look me that long to get upstairs, it's because I stopped and got pictures with some fans. The smile on their faces is priceless. I love making someones day.
Soon I walked inside the room and closed the door behind me. I was half expecting Autumn to be there, but she wasn't yet. I'll just get a quick shower and call room service, I'm hungry.. I whined as my stomach growled.
My shower was about 5 minutes long. I walked out in my boxers and looked around for Autumn. She's still not here..? Ugh.. I ignored my thoughts to call her and ask when she'd be back or if she was okay, cause I'm most likely overreacting.
I looked up the number to order food and finally called on the little phone on the desk beside the bed.
"Yes, I'll have a large pepperoni pizza, oh and some chicken wings.- "Yeah."- "Room 145B." "Okay, thanks." I hung up and laid back on the bed, staring at the ceiling. I feel so.. I don't know how to explain it. Empty, maybe? I'll give it 10 more minutes and if she's not back, I'll call her.
I watched an old football game that was on the tv and got on twitter. Might as well tweet while I'm on here.
Tweet: @NiallOfficial- Great show tonight Thank u London ! Now just gotta eat and go to sleep ! @Autumn needs to get here now :(
I set my phone down and heard a knock on the door. Finally! I ran to the door and opened it as fast as I could, about hitting myself in the face. I was quickly saddened when there was a young girl standing there with two boxes. She had red hair and freckles scattered across her face. At least the foods here.
"It's 17 dollars and 82 cents." She said holding the boxes out to me. I gladly took them and set them down on the table.
"Here ya go." I said handing her the money and closing the door.
"Wait!" She yelled. "Can I get a picture with you? I love you so much." She asked me.
"Of course." I said holding her phone out in front of us and taking the photo on her iphone 5.
She thanked me a thousand times and she left. Fans like that make my day.
I started eating a piece of pizza but soon lost my appetite at my mind constantly reminding me that Autumn's not back yet. I grabbed my phone to call her but I heard the door click open and close, signaling someone came in. She's the only other one with a key.
I heard footsteps down the hallway, and then the bathroom door close and lock.
"Autumn?" I called from my spot on the couch but there was no answer. Her purse is here so I know it's her..
I walked to the bathroom and knocked on the door. I could hear her shuffling around.
"Babe, you alright?" I said trying to open the door but it was locked.
"Yes.." She cried.
"Open the door." I sighed.
She let me in and I was instantly overwhelmed with the sight of blood everywhere. I felt sick to my stomach.. Then I looked at her..
"What happened to you!?" I panicked.
"It's not a big deal, okay?" She said in between breaths from crying.
"What. Happened." I said through my teeth.
"I just got a little jumped.. It's not-"
"A LITTLE? You're bleeding pretty bad!" I said looking at her. Her nose was bleeding, her lip was bleeding, and it looked like around her eye was turning black and blue.
"I'm fine.." She said wiping her tears away.
"No Autumn, It's okay to not be fine. It doesn't mean you're any less strong." I said wetting a towel and dabbing her lip then taking another one to put under her nose and tilt her head back to stop the bleeding.
"It's my fault.. I shouldn't have said anything."
The taxi finally pulled up behind the hotel. I paid and thanked the old driver who I got to know pretty well from sitting in traffic for so long. His name was Richard, he had two twin daughters and a son who now all had kids of their own. Him and his wife were married for 43 years. Hearing stuff like that makes me so happy.
I got out of the car and started making my way to the door, but soon realized there was a group of people standing next to it. Why not just ignore them? I went to walk in but one of them was blocking the door. Of course there's nobody else around and it's almost midnight..
"Hey, look who it is!" Some girl, who looked maybe late twenties said gesturing towards me.
"It's that little Irish boy from that stupid boyband's girlfriend." The other girl scoffed.
I just rolled my eyes and tried to make my way passed the girl in front of the door but she was about 3 times bigger than me. No way around her..
"He's such a little prick.. I hate him. He can't even sing." The one in front of me chuckled.
"You've never even had a f**king conversation with him. Quit being a delusional bitch." I cursed at her. Oh shit.. Here I go again with my smart mouth.
"What did you say to me?" She gritted through her stained teeth. Probably from doing drugs..
"I said, your being a delusional bitch." I said emphasizing the 'delusional bitch' part.
Next thing I knew I was on the ground being punched and kicked by 3 different people.
I cried out for help and what felt like hours later they were off of me and running away. I looked up to see a car made a turn and was gone. That's why they left, they thought that car would see them.. I stood up and cried out in pain. What am I gonna tell Niall..
I made my way up to the room, getting weird looks from people. I know I'm all bloody, I can taste it from my lip. I made my way in and went straight to the bathroom. Of course Niall came and was asking about me and there was no way to hide it from him.
"It's my fault.. I shouldn't have said anything." I assured him,
"What did they say to you first?" He asked still holding the towels on my face to absorb the blood.
"They brought you up.. That's where I draw the line, Niall." I sighed remembering what she said.
"You're so head strong.." Niall said. "I hate seeing you like this.. I'm calling 911 and then I have to show you something."
"Alright." I said getting a different towel since my other one was filled with blood completely.
