19. Starting Highschool

Problem Definition: I'm going into highschool on Tuesday, and I'm extremely nervous. Everyone is saying it's not that bad, but I was wondering if you had any advice.

As a matter of fact I do. When I started highschool I was beyond nervous but if it's anything I've learnt is to observe before you react. Meaning you should watch and understand everything that's going on around you before you join in. I use this same technique to make friends. I observe people before I decide if they are someone I would want to be friends with.

Just don't go there and expect to be friends with everyone on the first day, because it most likely won't happen but if it does then you're really lucky. Just be yourself and chill, don't be worried. I recommend you avoid making any enemies. Don't say anything mean to anyone or look at anyone anyway. Just be friendly and polite, if everyone can be okay with you then that's the best thing because enemies will make your life a living hell.

Don't go into the school and try to take over. No, that doesn't work. Just fit in. Don't be anti-social and get lost in the back ground because people will think your weird and then bullies will gather. Just blend in but stand out at the same time.

Highschool isn't that bad. Just be on point and on your game. Don't get carried away. Don't give in to peer pressure, know your morals and beliefs and stick to it without pushing it in others face. Just be you on a typical day, don't try to change yourself. I know you can do this.

I hope this helps! I wish you the best!
